Quality product
I have purchased this product before and now because it works like it is supposed to. My previous experience with some other photo electric units are that they fail by becoming stuck on the "on" position. Also some other units have activated when there is still a considerable amount of daylight or have a delayed morning shut-off.

light does not turn on too early or off too late to save electricity
I have used a couple of these on LED dusk to dawn area lights. I like that they do not turn on early when there is still plenty on natural light, and they turn off in the morning at a good point too. I have had others that want to stay on late in the morning if it is cloudy but still plenty of natural light to see.

dependable & long lasting compared to prior types used
We installed one of these June 2016 and as of Feb. 2018 it's still giving us great dependable service. We went through the typical Wally World / Low's Depot varieties about every 12 months before with our home utility pole light. Thus far it seems to be proving the ole adage, you get what you pay for. Granted, electrical storms can be a factor, but what with "global warming" (or whatever), we've had some pretty good doozies so far and it's hanging in there. #recommended product & seller

Intermatic photocell
Very good quality replacement part. These are designed to last and have been used on commercial roadway lights for years. One thing to keep in mind is they are very light sensitive and it will get very dark before the desired lighting is switched on, connected lights will also go out relatively early in the morning. These sensors are non adjustable.
