Worked as needed
I recently bought Pixel phone, and couldnt use my old headphones and ear buds with it. Instead of buying new ones, I opted for this adapter, and it has been working good so far. I feel like the quality is a little distorted if I use these, but not too much to bother me. I would definitely recommend this as an alternative to buying bluetooth headset if you have a lot of old ones not being used.

Great Sound
I have this original adapter and the new Apple Type C to 3.5mm. This adapter is vastly superior in sound and build quality. The Apple is extremely flimsy and the sound is flat and lower volume in comparison. Spend the extra money on this one, it's worth it.

It is compatible with my phone and works well
Works as advertised. Actually, it works better then the USB C to 3.5mm plug that came with the Pixel 2!! Mine original pixel 2 cable died after 4 months! This one works great - strong sound delivered. Happy I tried the off-brand.

Works with Pixel 1 phone too-- big audio quality improvement over jack
Works perfectly. Only problem is an inherent limitation -- you can't charge at the same time. For what it is, it's fool-proof and sounds great.
