Windows PowerShell 6 (IT Pro Solutions) Kindle Edition

A resource for beginner scripters only. A lot is left out for intermediate to advanced needs including Internal documentation, creating custom modules, Parsing XML or CSV data, Formatting output. No practical application examples. For a book labeled as an IT Pro Solutions guide, it falls short. The title would indicate at least some cookbook type elements. I'm not sure if there is a single complete script little on a "Solution". It was cheap enough in Kindle format that it can stay in my library but I don't see myself referencing it often, if at all.

Well written text that covers material not found in the text, Learn PowerShell in a Month of Lunches. If you're new to PowerShell, this book and the 3rd Edition of the Month of Lunches book are absolute essentials! I also highly recommend the PowerShell Deep Dive course available for free at the Microsoft Virtual Academy. No way you can go wrong with these 3 learning resources. And you'll love PowerShell!

Good book. A lot of information explaining how Powershell works and how you can use it to gather the information you're looking for.

This is a good place to start if you're looking to learn PowerShell. Good solid overview and foundation material.

Handy manual to have for reference
