I have one leg shorter than the other and these work great! I love that they are harder because they don’t wear down like the foam ones.

These lifts are very sturdy and comfortable. I only needed in one shoe due to leg/hip discrepancy. I can certainly feel the difference and walking normally.I would definitely purchase again and recommend this particular material for durability

I was diagnosed with a leg length discrepancy, I needed more than one lift for my left shoe because I can’t remember to keep pulling the one I got from my osteopath……these are perfect, I put them in my most frequently worn shoes. Make sure if you only need these in one shoe that you know the correct height! You don’t want to cause a length issue on your other leg. I’ve had all kinds of issues from years of being a runner and not knowing I had an imbalance like this, these make the issues go away!

Thanks for sending this product in such a speedy manner. My chiropractor discovered that my left leg is shorter than my right-probably from a knee surgery as a kid that left me in a brace for a year. I started having severe back spasms over the last years, and no one knew why. Turns out leg length discrepancy. This leg lift evened me out, and makes a huge difference. If anyone finds it doesn't exactly work- or some other area hurts for the first time with the lift, get orthotic inserts as well to compensate for the lack of arch support with the lift. The chiropractor charged a major increase for these- so thank you for reasonable pricing!! I measured it- found them on Amazon, ordered enough to go in different pairs of shoes so I didnt have to keep switching. They can slide forward, so consider heavy duty velcro to keep them in place. These are very hard, have decent adhesion but are best used under the shoes insole.

My PT told me that a leg length discrepancy was the cause of long term chronic back and hip pain. It was hard to believe such a "small" difference could cause so much pain but she was right! A half inch lift was her recommendation but the foam pads I tried at first just squished to nothing very quickly. It was good trying those first, though since that helped me start adapting to the change of the full 1/2". The chronic pain I've had for years is more manageable already and I'm grateful for this product and to Amazon for their easy ordering and helpful "ask a question" feature.You receive 3 lifts which is perfect so you don't have to move a single one from shoe to shoe. These lifts/wedges are made from a quite firm material and sometimes make the heel on that side sore despite wearing a supportive insole. The women's size fits my size 10 shoes without any gaps.The only thing that is troublesome for me is that there's the loss of some stability because my heel is not completely cradled in the heel cup of my shoes any longer. The only way around that is if I have lifts installed on the soles of all my shoes and who can afford that? Hopefully I'll get more stability as I get used to the change in height. At first it was like I was wearing a stilt on one leg and stumbling everywhere! I'm a bit clumsy anyway but this was something else.As others have said, make sure to put these lifts under the insoles that come with your shoe (if it's removable) or add support inserts so the lift doesn't slide forward in your shoe and also to add some cushioning.5 stars!WWW

I only used once to try to help my leg discrepancy. It slipped around -even with some sticky tape.
