Pregnancy For Dummies 3E: 3rd Edition Paperback – December 19, 2008

This was recommended after I complained to a friend about how vague and unhelpful "Very Popular Pregnancy Book" was. It repeatedly would give no answer to questions and then say "Ask your doctor." Well, Pregnancy for Dummies IS Asking the Doctor! The information is clear and well organized. There are subsections with icons such as "Don't Worry," "Technical Stuff" and "Call the Doctor" to help you grade the importance and urgency of concerns. I now recommend this to all first time Mom's-to-be and anyone looking for gifts for Mom's-to-be.

I love this book! It is easy to understand and it’s answering all my questions, even the ones I am afraid to ask. My husband and I are trying, and this is great!

Really enjoyed this book and think it helped me a lot for preparing for my pregnancy and labor. Definitely not a book you need to read more than once (because of course you will also be experiencing it in real life) so if you are having one child I suggest borrowing from a friend or looking into a library? However if you do plan on getting this book and dont need it, make sure to pass it on to another expecting person, as it was quite helpful.

I just received my book, I already love it. I read a few paragraphs here, and there, and know it will be useful. This will be my first child (not due yet). I'm healing from a spinal fusion first. Exciting:)

We are using it as a theatre prop for "Don't Hug Me I'm Pregnant". I was glad to know there was a book with that title so we didn't have to try to fake one.

Lots of information and knowledge from the authors. Puts things into a way that's easy to understand. I recommend for anyone curious about pregnancy and to know what to expect.

Honestly, this book is written for a third grader. One of the first things it talks about is how pregnancy is broken up into "trimesters" REALLY?wow. If you know NOTHING about birth/pregnancy then maybe you would benefit from this book. However I found it really unhelpful and I quit reading after a few chapters....

Lots of questions answered, easy to read and easy to find what I'm looking for. Being my first pregnancy, I feel more comfortable with this book at the ready.
