Goddess Women's Plus-Size Adelaide Underwire Banded Bra

I have been looking for a good substitute for the Bali Flower Bra that I normally wear in colors other than white and nude. I finally found one. The sizing seem to be very similar to the Flower Bali which is Cups are as expected and the band may be a size bigger unless I like my band a bit tighter than most. I measure at the band area (46) and at the fullest part of the breasts (50) so I should be a 46 D but I find that the 44 DD is the best fit for me down a band size up a cup size. This bra has a lined but non-padded non-stretch cup, great for shaping and support. The underwires lay completely flat in the cleavage area. Even my favorite Flower Bali gaps a bit. The straps are stretch straps that adjust in the back, too bad, the stretch straps tends to dig into the shoulders more and also the stretch straps takes away a bit of support and may also cause the back band to creep up the back, and if the adjustment was in the front it would make it easier to make that quick adjustment if needed. I have seen other reviews that this bra gives a pointy look, I have to disagree. The good support will help lift and give you a projected look but it is more rounded when I compare it to the Bali Flower Bras that I normally wear just for that reason of having that youthful perky/pointy look. I notice nearly no movement of the breast while working or exercising, and you don't even have to give up your figure as you would with a sports bra.I am including pictures of both the Goddess bra and the Bali Flower bra as worn so one can see the difference in the look at the end of the cup for round or pointy look. As a crossdresser I have become very critical of bras and this is my new number one ahead of the Bali Flower. It is very comfortable during a 12 hour day of wearing it. I think the straps could be just a bit longer. I adjusted it all the way out and it is about where I wear my other bras. If someone had a bit longer torso they may be in trouble, I am 5'11" tall and over 275 pounds. Smaller frame people may be good with the strap length. The price is a bit higher than I normally pay for the Bali line but for colors I guess it is worth it.

This product could really be a 5 star product! However......The underwires are way too long! They are so high up they stab into your underarm. It is really miserable to wear, but only because of the underwire. The bra itself is fabulous. The cup is well made and very supportive. The fabric is a little bothersome because it has a texture to it that causes your shirts to actually pull down. But it doesn't feel rough on your skin, it is just the texture of the outer lace. I would have to say if it wasn't for the horrible underwire this would be my favorite bra. Unfortunately, the underwire makes it miserable to wear! Disappointing....

This is a good bra but not great. I still have issues with the quality of the straps (need to be less elastic) and under the clothing it appears to have a wider orientation than other brands. Re the straps, I wore this all day yesterday and they sunk into my shoulders. Goddess should aim for the type of straps like the original Elomi Caitlyn bras. The colours are really nice and sexy but the two issues noted above prevent me from giving a higher score.

I have been wearing nothing but Goddess since I got too top heavy to buy my bras at a regular department store. Goddess always has the size and support that I need. This Adelaide bra is comfortable, supportive (40 J), and the color is gorgeous. The lace makes me feel very feminine and sexy. The fabric is not real thick nor heavy feeling. It is rather light weight and held me up all day without my having to adjust and tug. Some how it supports without being heavy and binding, and everything stayed in place all day. The underwire lays FLAT between my breasts!!!!! It is a beautiful and supportive bra for the large-busted woman. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a beautiful bra and needs support. This has become my new favorite bra. I have already ordered 2 more in black. Goddess - please continue to have beautiful colors in these bras. I don't understand why some manufacturers feel that if you have large breasts you are not interested in colors. Knowing that I have a big and beautiful bra that supports my big bust makes me feel beautiful and sexy instead of just big.

Good support, underwire do extend up higher than my other bras by this brand, but this bra also gives a little more shape. For me, it is still comfortable and I’m able to wear it with no issues. The blush is less of a pale pink and more of a true pink, (I included a pic), which is a little bit of a bummer as I was hoping to wear it without showing much under lighter shirts. Great price for an extended size bra. Is pretty supportive, a little bit of bounce with the elastic straps, but still overall a bra I will wear regularly and will purchase again. I cannot speak for durability yet on this model, but I have others by this brand that have held up very well.

Fit exactly as I expected. I purchased measuring tapes to measure myself correctly before I purchased them. I measured myself by bending over in an sideways L shape braless across my bust. I then measured my band size. I took these two measurements and put them into a bra calculator. I like the one on the website Herroom. The website told me I was D7. So I ordered two separate bras from this company as you can't find D7 in most stores. Both bras fit wonderful and for the first time in forever I didn't have overflow on the top or sides. It fit just right. The reason I gave this bra three stars instead of 5 is that the bra Unlike its sister bra only lasted about a month before the top of the bra was worn out causing overflow. The other bra was Goddess Women's Kayla Banded underwire Bra and is still holding out just fine. Overall I am pleased with Goddess brand and will be buying more in due time. I believe that the fabric was just very thin at the top of this bra and as I am pregnant and going up in bra size I didn't purchase several bras because of the short period of time I plan to be in these, had I done so this one might have fared a little longer.

I wasn't sure about this bra - despite its lovely colour, it looked a bit "architectural" in the photo.Right on both counts!It is a very pretty colour - almost grape. As for the structure - yes, it's there. However, the bra is REMARKABLY comfortable - the sides and back are very smoothing and fit nicely. For more generously endowed ladies, it gives good lift and shape.NB: The lace detailing is etched very deep, which makes the bra look expensive - but also unsuitable under t-shirts, fine knits, etc...

I love Goddess bras. This style is very pretty and feminine and I am delighted with both the fit and the support. This bra is designed to provide support for that pesky jiggly bit under the arms. I did my own fitting too! It just takes some careful measuring and math. I learned a trick some years back: I measure under the breasts as we're taught, but also above--just under the armpits. You may not get the same measurement. I've used that under the armpit measurement several times and gotten better results every time. Just one word of advice: after you've gotten your band measurement, and after you've determined your cup size, subtract a couple inches from the band size when placing the order (don't change the cup size). You may have to add an extender at first but here's why: bras stretch and it wont take very long at all before you're using the inner-most eyes to fasten--and not long after that it won't fit comfortably any longer. Oh and never ever put them in the dryer! I wash mine in mesh bags in gentle cycle (low spin) and hang them to dry. Heat from the dryer weakens the elastic.

I love the bra the fit and feel is amazing. The only problem I has was that one of the hooks popped out after only owning it for a month. I have two more of these bras and they are perfect. I think this was just a fluke. I would definately recommend trying them.

Fits in cup but mesh part is larger at the top and doesn't stay flush to skin it's a big baggy and can see through shirt that is baggy at that part
