Who doesn't need to make a quick dessert for an unexpected dinner guest or party to go to? Good quality book. Nice selection and variety of recipes. I just wanted it in my collection...and now I do.

A fun book full of non-gourmet quick recipes. The only one I've tried is the peach melba dump cake and it worked just fine. Fast and delicious. There are a lot of recipes which are variations on the same theme (pie filling + some optional ingredient like nuts or frozen fruit + a cake mix + lots of butter). In addition, there are some other recipes that don't follow the formula, and some might be tempting.A big minus is the lack of photos. It only has one signature in the center with color photos, but that only covers a handful or two of the recipes. The rest, you have to imagine.

The recipes make, even the novice cook, it so easy to make deserts.

This book starts out with 'dump' recipes but very soon is reading like a normal cookbook measuring out the ingredients. But the book had a LOT of recipes in it, many sounding good so I can't say I regret buying the book. I have yet to make any recipes but that is due to lethargy. I just need to remember to take the book in the grocery and buy some of the items needed..

Had one of this book's desserts visiting one night - and t was just great! So I got the name and then the book. There's a lot of delicious but quick-to-make recipes that take few ingredients and are easy to prepare! An excellent item for just about anybody!
