Thought the book was very informative ang gave me ideas for some trees of my own

This is absolutely the best art/craft book I have ever purchased. The diagrams are exceptionally detailed and the written direction appear concise. This is all supplemented with great black and white photographs. Also includes a section on marketing your products. I can’t wait to start my first project. The reason I am writing early is because I purchased this book with two others in a suggested bundle by Amazon. Included was a book titled “How to create beaded and wire tree sculpture”. I did not notice that these two books were written by the same author. This book was copyrighted in 2013 and the other in 2009. The other book is also incredible but all the information in the other book is included in this book plus much more. So my suggestion is to buy this book over the other but definitely not both.

This book is an excellent resource for any one that is interested in this type of wire sculpture. The instructions are simple and complete. There is a complete list of the supplies and resources to get these supplies. The illustrations are simple and professionally done. Sal Vallano was very inspirational in his approach from the opening with the poem "Trees". You can copy the designs that he illustrated but for me this is a guide and the answer to putting what my mind conceives into the art with his technique. This book is a must have for anyone that have the slightest interest in wire sculpture.

Excellent book, with so much information you will need to take time to digest it all. I've been making little trees for a while, but was curious what to do about making bases. The author has many ideas on the subject, so there's sure to be something for anyone who has ever wanted to do this. You don't have to follow his methods exactly, but you will learn a lot from him no matter what you choose to do.

East to follow instuction. Only complaint is pictures are black and white

I purchased the book, There are other techniques out there that this book does not cover. The designs are just the preferred way of doing thing by the author. Some techniques are good enough to be used in combination with other techniques to come up with an awesome design.

I am extremly dissapointed with this book, poor quality, only white and black pictures, book looks like photocopy , pictures are almost invisible black , only front book is in colour , not many types of trees - all trees are in the same style.Maybe If is original book,in colour and not photocopy it will looks better. On you tube and internet you can find better tutorials for free. Very expensive for white and black photocopy you recive.I will return .
