I may be a bit of a furniture snob. So I was a little hesitant to order anything that required any assembly, especially Teak. However, I can assure you I've been very pleased with this purchase. My primary concern was that no hardware showed, and this table meets that need. There are wood plugs on the corners which actually lend a nice look to the table. Is well constructed of clear Teak and I'm very pleased with purchase. Would recommend it.

I like the table, it was easy to assemble and looks sturdy and very nice. This is why I gave 5 stars for quality and assembly.However, as in many of the reviews I have seen for this table, it arrived damaged. I do not have a picture of the package itself, but the box was clearly torn in many places upon arrival and looked really bad. It is the fault of the manufacturer, not Amazon. The table is basically just put in a carton box and left to fate to arrive sound. I am attaching photos of the damages in at least 3 places. I am very irritated that a beautiful and expensive (!) product should be packaged so badly!I am afraid that the manufacturer does not read these reviews, otherwise they should have corrected this outstanding issue.I did not return it because Amazon was 1) stating that there are just a few left, 2) it is quite bulky and 3) because this is the second teak table I have ordered lately. The first time, instead of a table, a big mirror was delivered (Amazon's fault) and I did not want to go through another return of a bulky item.I gave 3 stars for the value relative to price because I do not think I should pay $800 for a damaged item. The manufacturer should make sure they use adequate packaging!

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this table. Very sturdy and high quality. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

There were two pretty positive reviews for this product so I didn't read them carefully. My mistake.The table just arrived yesterday, and it was in terrible shape. No wonder, since they literally just throw it in a flat-packed box with zero padding at all.Also, I now have to repack this heavy table into its damaged box, and drag it to a post office for a return.Do not recommend purchasing this product.

Beautiful table, but like the other reviews, it came in a box torn apart and the top of the table was damaged. Luckily my husband knows woodworking and the wood shards were in the box so he's going to fix it. Good table, terrible shipping.

The table looks very nice and I'm happy with the purchase but plan on living with some damage. I went through three tables to get one that was only a little damaged. Amazon really needs to double box this item to prevent damage.First table was shipped with FedEx and arrived with the side of the table broken off. Second table with FedEx arrived with corners smashed in. Third table arrived via FedEx Saturday delivery and only had some splintering on the side below the table top that I decided to just glue and clamp.It is a good idea to apply some teak oil before use. The listing sounds like it may include some in the box but that is not the case.Overall a good solid table that was easy to put together but is easily damaged in shipping.

I have to say that this table is definitely of good quality. The other reviews here with shipping damage had me concernedand indeed I did receive one of the wooden legs with a slightly bent bolt which was easily fixed with a little muscle. This table is heavyand it ships with the legs nested within the top with very little protection of the table face in a fairly good cardboard packaging. indeed if not handled properly the wood could be damaged if dropped or not stacked properly. Overall for the price this table is a bargain. It has the look and sturdiness of a table that would easily be over $1000 from any other home goods retailer. I highly recommend it.
