Sting Of The Black Scorpion

So this TV show isn't that good. It's perhaps too goofy/campy but still I kind of like it. I can watch 2 in a row but not 3; there's just too much campiness. It's like eating too much sugar. Most of it is silly but it's funny too. Watch one every other month or so to get a dose of laughs but for heaven's sake don't binge watch!P.S. So, I can't help point out my favorite quip: Black Scorpion is fighting a bunch of Chinese Kung Fu bad guys and after winning says, "The problem with fighting Chinese is that an hour later you want to fight them all over again." Get it? Because when you eat Chinese food you get stuffed but then an hour later your starving. Snort.

I didn't know exactly what to expect as the character in this instance was Michelle Lintel and NOT Joan Severance. But it was done just as well, sure it was a bit corny but it was still fun and that's what it's all about!

Very low budget special effects, script, cinematography. Might appeal to the diehard fan of the genre, or a jr. high school aged viewer whi'd like a scantily clad heroine and lots of cheap car crashes.Spoiler Alert: Does have Frank Gorshin in it as one of the supervillians, and that's probably were the money went. But he's NOT reprising his role as the Riddler from TV's Batman, except for the occasional wearing of a bowler hat.

I like the older movies

Hugely Naff, but worth the purchase to see Michelle Lintel in kinky attire. Scripted by a couple of ten year old's, but enjoyable never the less. Only thing missing is Frank Dreben.

following on from the Joan Severance first two black scorpion outings this is not 'quite' as interesting as Ms S's efforts. i enjoyed it as pure silly entertainment but felt i missed Ms S's presence. perhaps it is a nostalgic wallowing on my part. Fun film for escaping to.
