I purchased these for a 1962 VOX AC30, which would have had brass screws with a flathead top. Having attempted to source such screws locally in hardware shops, I found that the only option was steel screws with Phillips heads (which were too modern for the age of the amp). These too looked too shiny for the amp, but leaving them overnight in a tupperware container with a small amount of white vinegar and salt they were suitably aged. The screws in the amp were installed by a previous owner, so this was my attempt to take it back as closely as possible to its original state.

I needed some brass thumbscrews for retaining stair rods. Could not find anywhere, so used these brass bolts with the tops cut off and added a brass domed capnut. Super result, and this pack has a wide range of lengths so I could play around a bit. High quality product, at a great price, in a neat storage box. highly recommended.

La lunghezza della vite che mi occorreva era una sola ma , vista la non convenienza di acquastare solo quella, ho scelto questa confezione che ne fornisce di diverse lunghezze. Sarà senzaltro utile averle a disposizione visto che le viti in ottone non sono reperibili con facilità. Buona la confezione e la finitura.

They are what they are - if you pay attention it's obvious they don't come with anything but the screws, but when I ordered I didn't pay attention and had to order nuts separately.
