I gave this a 5 star....I am impressed that it did calm my anxiety a bit, it did calm the ache in my back and arms for about 2 hours, but also tighten my sinuses within an hour of drinking it , not a good feeling already have sinus issues. To me, it tasted just ok, to one of my adult children, he said it was not a good taste. My other son said it gave him a 5 hour sore throat, said the tea needed to be sweetened. I cannot purchase again due to the reaction I had with the sinuses. Otherwise I would purchase again due to the calm feeling and the less achiness.

White Willow Bark
Nice big bag. I've now made tincture for all of my family and neighbors. The tincture is effective against headache and cramping. I don't have any other ailments, so I'll find out from others how it works for other pain.

Exactly what I needed!
I have used White Willow Bark for years as a natural anti-inflammatory. It is the natural form of aspirin and it much easier on the stomach. I haven't had any for quite awhile but my back went out and my husband started having bad nerve pain about the same time. I found this on Amazon and got it. It really is amazing. It is organic and very inexpensive. It is sifted so you don't have a bunch of powder in the bottom of your glass. It isn't particularly tasty but it isn't horrible either. I use about a tablespoon in a teaball, and let it steep about 5 minutes. It worked so well. It took the pain away within about 10 minutes for both of us and I only needed it for a couple days and my back was fine again. My husband's pain is still there but not as bad. Damaged nerves take awhile to heal. For myself, this was very nice and fresh, and helped a ton.

Great stuff! Ya jest haff ta know how ta use it.
This stuff'll work folks. It'll relieve yer aches and pains in a jiffy. Now we country folkz know that if yer ever out fishin and ya get a headache th thing ta do is grab ya a willer twig and chew on it. As long as yer chewin yer head won't hurt. I know cause I've done it myself. Now when we first got this Momma who's th herbalist in this family started ta make me a cup a willer bark tea and I told her not ta make it sa strong. I mean folkz shes th herbalist but I'm the man in this family. Well, I shoulda listened ta the herbalist. It didn't do much for my head ache and I wound up takin a aspirin so's I could sleep. By the way aspirin is one a th wonder o th modern world. The next time I had a headache I listened ta Momma and she packed about half a tea-ball full o this stuff and sure enough there went my headache. I didn't have that day or the next as sometimes happens when I take aspirin I'll have ta take aspirin th next day. This stuff works if ya make it strong enough. Now how strong ya have ta make it for you I don't know and I ain't no doctor but if yer not gettin th relief ya need ya might want ta think about it. Also this stuff'll dry yer sinuses out too, I think because its got tannin in it.

Looks good.
Received in a non-resealable bag which was fine. I transferred to glass jars. The dates were on the label so you know you have a couple years to use it provided you store appropriately. I’m sure it will be used up well within the time. This filled up a 64oz mason jar with lots left over. I was very happy to see how much was there. The pieces were good size, looked like wood chips. Had no smell. This is my first time buying white willow bark, so I don’t have anything to compare it to.
