had great fun cooking our fist turkey in this. turned out great. This is decently made, but the pot itself is a bit on the thinish side. but i guess that is to be expected fro the price. it did not affect at all the cooking however and we are happy with the purchase.

The 15 minute timer is a bit annoying but having it for safety seems like a fair ...
Used it only once for thanksgiving - pot feels a bit thin, but everything worked perfectly. Set up out of the box takes 10 minutes. The 15 minute timer is a bit annoying but having it for safety seems like a fair trade.

Great fryer-exceeded expectations! :-)
Worked perfectly for our Christmas turkey. My family doesn't want it cooked any other way now. Everything worked great! I did a 14.6 pound bird in 50 minutes. The fryer will accomodate an 18 pound bird. I wish I had known that before I bought my turkey. Follow the instructions. Three to four gallons of boiling oil can be dangerous.
