I have a 54mm diameter mic. This says 48-54 mm. Really really tight and won't go on all the way. When I went to return it, the description popped up as 47-53 mm. That silly little millimeter... maybe that's why my 54 mm diameter mic doesn't fit. Good price and otherwise well made, but since I already have one just like this that doesn't fit either, this one has to go back. I'd keep it and be happy if the mic I need to hold fit.

Works with my Studio Projects C1 condenser but the locking screw is a bit weak. Weight of the mic requires a really strong turn of the locking screw, we'll see if it holds up.

I bought this because I read the comments about how it fits a Blue Yeti. What those people failed to mention is they are using the small Yeti and not the Regular one. So if you are reading this, know that it does NOT fit a full sized Blue Yeti.

A 54mm microphone is just a little too tight in this shock mount. With some adjustments the inner clamp I was able to squeeze the Aston Spirit just barley in. Once in I was unable to get the wing nut tight enough to keep the Spirit up right. The Mike was just a little to heavy.

Much better quality than the shock mounts that came with the mics!! Would purchase again.
