With a rubber bung over the batteries I wou!dnt put it in the sink the inner is s,steel so no flavour crossover -tea coffee cuppasoups , First time I put a gingernut in the coffee didn't notice any bits.Will try putting a couple of eggs in to scramble for lunchPotty about self stirring mug being on the side
