You cannot go wrong, solid protection
Like the best way to ride a bicycle is to ride far enough out from the gutter to avoid the debris (unless you like to spend all day patching your tires), likewise the best way to power walk is to protect your knees. Like Vince Lombardi once quipped when players were hurt "The knee's, the knee's, it's always the knee's". The knee's are every persons weakest link and if you want to stay fit, you need to protect them. I have tried many other braces and now I am trying these for the first time. I had my concerns purchasing a brace without an open patella, but the fit and support from this brace is top notch and they do not slid down. I have included a sizing chart via attached jpeg picture from the Mava site. Side note: you can toss these in a washer, but remember to only air dry them.

I like that I can make this sucker tight with all ...
I have meniscus issues and switch between this brace and one with metal side hinges. I like that I can make this sucker tight with all the velcro straps and sweat doesn't affect the velcro. There are times where my metal hinge brace works better; that probably had more to do with hip bones than the braces. Great for playing volleyball in - I can still get a kneepads on the bottom of the brace, woot

Happy With
I am a big fan of this brace. I've tried a couple of different ones and this is the first one to actually stay up on my leg. I love that it has the Velcro straps so you can really adjust the pressure. And its one of the first braces that doesn't really bunch up behind my knee. The costumer service this company provides is also excellent. With the first brace I ordered the stitching that holds the straps on started to come loose after only a couple of times using it. I e-mailed the company and they sent me a new one immediately and didn't make me send back the defective one. They were just really responsive and friendly and I super appreciate that in a company.

Does a great job supporting your knee - probably had 5 different styles over the years - this is the best yet!
Excellent product - definitely gives superior bracing. I must admit putting the brace on is a bit like wrestling an octopus because of the multitude of straps BUT - these additional straps serve a purpose and are part of the superior bracing. Most braces I have used in the past eventually lose their gripping power (Velcro) but the additional straps serve to support the main straps. I am a bit hot natured and this brace does tend to hold body heat at the knee area. Quite probably, this is a good thing but just something to be aware of. To me, I find it a little uncomfortable after a few hours but I gotta say - it does one heck of a job bracing my knee. Just understand, this brace takes an extra minute to put on and it will probably hold in a little more heat than you are used to but also expect outstanding support for your knee. I absolutely recommend it and plan on buying a spare so I'll have one available at all times.

mava compression knee support
i bought this for my husband who has been having knee problems for almost 6 years, he has had multiple shots in is knee, which give little relief, so he put this compression knee support on the next day and has been wearing it every day since, he says it give him much more relief than the shots ever did. great product well made, nice side supports none binding.

Comfortable compression sleeve won’t slip!
I must have ordered the wrong size, because I couldn’t begin to get the strap fastened all the way around my leg, if that’s how it’s supposed to be. However, I found that the rubberized strip at the upper edge did a fine job of keeping it from rolling, and maybe just having the strap go along the back of my leg (I did adjust it to make it fairly taut that way) helped, I’m not sure. But they don’t roll or slip, that’s for sure; once I pull it up onto my thigh, it stays put. The compression is comfortable but snug, which I like, and it keeps my knees warm for evening walks when it’s cold. It also is a useful undersleeve for a jointed, side-stabilizer brace I have that is adjustable but not as high-quality as custom DME braces, to prevent twisting out of an ACL-damaged knee; without this sleeve, that brace slides down on walks or chafes, but with the sleeve, that brace stays in place much better. This is great, because I was feeling I might have to go in to get an expensive custom brace again (I’ve had two and both disappeared); this will allow me to put that off a little.I wouldn’t really call this a “brace” though I suppose that’s technically correct; knees are so unstable from ACL tears that nothing but side stabilizers make me feel adequately supported. However, it does improve warmth, circulation, and offers mild compression with irritation or slippage, and it is a good addition to reduce chafing and slipping of a more substantial brace over it. Yes, it really does stay in place.

Great compression sleeve. I wouldn't categorize it as a brace tho.
This is a nice compression sleeve. It fits well and I like the velcro strap at the top that keeps it from rolling down off of my knee. It's especially effective when you're very active. I don't think this falls under the category of a brace, however. It's more like a tight sock. If you need actual stability, maybe look for something thicker or with plastic or metal stays on either side of the knee. Otherwise, if you're looking for compression, this one will do just fine.

Just what I was looking for
First off, great customer service - I had an issue with size and I reached out to Customer service. They responded the same day and was very helpful. Within the week I had sent my pair back and received a larger pair at no cost. These really help my knees on leg day. Once you start sweating, these don't move. After workouts, roll these off inside out.
