Ramy Cosmetics Lip Oils, Rose, 25-Ounce Unit

I had seen an article in Style Magazine about the new trend in lip oils. I ordered the Rose lip oil by Ramy. The flavor is unappealing. Maybe the mint would have been better. The oil does not stay on the lips very long. I am a lip balm addict and thought this would be a nice change but it doesn't really moisturizer or protect and the taste is odd.

the description i saw said this would plump your lips. it doesn't. it's just a pricey lip gloss. i don't think it has any special qualities, flavor isn't great, probably better off buying something at target for a couple of bucks.

I purchased this at a Walgreen's in Las Vegas last summer, to help heal my desert-chapped lips. Lip Oil is a blend of essential oils (including almond oil, jojoba oil, and rose oil),and it smells like rosewater. I love the fresh scent because I'm crazy about roses. The fragrance is not strong, just nice. My lip oil is in a 7.5 ml glass bottle with a roll-on applicator, like old-fashioned lip glosses (anyone else remember Kissing Potion?) The lip oil is a sheer red, somewhat thick substance that feels remarkably smooth and non-sticky on lips. I find it softens my lips instantly, and as my lips absorb the oils my lips get softer, smoother, and the skin which had been shriveled up from dryness, plumps up to its normal size. I'm not sure of what this product claims to do, as I've never seen any advertising for it and the only place I've ever seen this brand in a store is in Las Vegas, so I can't say if it "lives up" to any marketing or not. However, it's a wonderful, lovely smelling, softening moisturizer for instantly making chapped lips look healthy.
