This is not bad, but come on......he compromises the spine in the 2 man roll. He completely handles it wrong. If he turned the man in the opposite direction, crossed his handswhen he placed them on the officer head he would not have had to let go of C spine to repositon his hands and again. You never let go of c spine unless you are in danger. Now there may be circumstances in which you are unable to turn in the opposite direction, but its still possible to do so without compromising the spine, especially to the degree that he does. The man who was the downed officer had his enitre spine, C to Lumber unnecessarily twisted. If this were an actual event and there was spinal damage....He would have made it worse. Did he not review his own video? He should have.

As a tactical/defense firearms instructor for 25+ years, I have learned that more than for students an instructor is at increased risk. All of you who are experienced at teaching all disciplines at all levels know how common students and even experienced competitors can behave in a dangerous manner. I do know advanced first aid but few books (including advanced EMT texts deal with gunshot immediate care). I am getting this DVD ASAP thanks to the reviews posted here. You cant find the info in your standers 1st aid certification class.This it somthing I hope i never need to use. However if an accident ever happends I'll know how to deal with it. This is not mickymouse BS.It's the real thing. If you need to be the 1st responder at the range or on a hunting trip. this video "will" snow you how to save yours or your buddies life.Make your trama 1st aid kit and be safe.

This is an amazingly informative instructional video. A smart move for anyone involved with firearms, emergency responders, CERT Civilian Emergency Response Teams. Shows in depth step by step actions to take for critical life saving techniques. More than pleased with my purchase and great that it can be shared with others and reviewed again as a refresher.

This will be of some use if you have NOT taken something like the Red Cross Wilderness and Remote first aid class. If you are in need of information about Olaes bandages, clotting agents, or transportation, save your money. Keep in mind that it was released in 2007, so it is a little dated.

Great video--very helpful for teaching first aid basics

Excellent training dvd on treating gunshot wounds. The main instructor in the dvd is a subject matter expert on emergency tactical first aid and guides you through the process of effectively dealing with gunshot wounds. Great training tool!
