They have been hard wearing and useful so far. However, they’re not magnetic.

Pros: after hours of impact and non-impact use driving boxes and boxes of screws, the bits still haven't started to deteriorate, driving screws in as positively as the first use. The paint wears off the tip, but not had one fail or slip. Don't seem to rust if they get damp either. Perfect length for general use and keeps the spinning chuck well away from delicate surfaces reducing the risk of accidental damage. Cons: none whatsoever UPDATE: these things just keep going. Lifted 28m2 of decking today that had been down 10+ years. Some screws snapped but even with impact use the bits still showing minimal signs of wear. Impact bits are disposable so it's best to have a whole bunch available to you in my experience - which after seven years of rebuilding a house known as the 'Money Pit,' - is now quite extensive. The next thing to note is that some brands - you know which ones - sold in DIY superstores are almost surreal when it comes to pricing. And they break just as easily. Impact driver bits are harder than the basic bits to account for the hammering they take which, is a necessary trade off against fracture. They all snap or fracture at some point, usually if you haven't perfectly aligned the bit in the screw head for the fiftieth time and so they can be described as disposable. This is why I don't buy name brand stuff and generally buy the Saxton bits - along with other things they make such as saw blades. I've found that Saxton gear lasts as well as anyone else's stuff but is way cheaper - something of real consideration when using disposable gear. These bits are well made with the additional length perfect for using direct in an impact driver especially if used down a pocket or hole. In a few weeks of use so far I have not broken one yet which, is pretty good. Overall great value for money.

Disappointing. Have bought quite a few sabrecut items over the years and always found them to be high in quality but these bits are a complete let down. Only used a handful of times and the tips have snapped. 0/10 would not recommend.

Well I must say after reading the reviews I decided on these as seemed to be really good quality and also price . First impressions were excellent but unfortunately short lived as one of them the tip just shattered! Something I would expect from cheap Chinese, not these ! Well it was a pack of 5 so I have 4 more to use I guess ! :-(

Excellent. The extra length works well in awkward places. Magnetic too.
