Are the dimensions found in the product description the outside dimensions or the actual inside dimensions? Thanks

Here are both the inside/outside dimensions (by tape measure) of the item I purchased: Outside: 14" X 18-3/4"; Inside: 12" X 17" Most of the difference is due to having a gasketed waterproof lip and room for the very secure hinge fasteners. This case is fully as good as, if not better than, a Pelican case, but much less expensive; I'm happy with the one I bought. P.S. the outside dimensions are what you need for carry-on luggage restrictions, and the 925 has always passed muster on the flights I've taken.

Will this case hold a 4.5 in diameter by 11.5 inch lens?

Yes. I have an old Nikon 300mm that's 5.25" x 11.25" and it fits vertically (along the short dimension) with room for 3/4" of padding. The interior measures 12" x 17" with ~6" of depth. Excellent latches and hinges. Superior to my older Pelican cases in everything but the interior foam, which was an odd configuration (std. open cell stuff). I replaced that.

Will the case hold wireless microphones?
