Good handle for a smaller camcorder
There are an abundance of these types of handles available on Amazon and as far as I can tell, all seem to be basically the identical product, made from the same molds, probably coming from the same factory in China, just with different logos slapped on them. So, it made sense to just go ahead and get the cheapest one possible. What you get is an adequate handle that is sufficient for mounting a lighter weight camera on. For this purpose, it works quite well. The plastic seems sturdy enough and there is a little bit of flex, but nothing major. It holds my Canon Vixia HF M50 quite securely. Trying to put a DSLR on it however, is a no go. I could not cinch it down tightly enough to prevent the camera from flopping and spinning around. For that application, I would look into a handle a bit more robust, such as a Cam Caddie Scorpion or perhaps the Opteka XL.The smallish size of the handle, even with a small camcorder, does not provide enough clearance to mount any accessories on the camera. Thankfully, the integrated shoe mount is decent. A big complaint I've heard about the shoe attachments on these inexpensive handles is that they don't tighten enough to prevent movement. I did not encounter that problem. I was able to attach a V mount with attached boom mic and LED light panel, and everything stayed securely in place. The shoe has about an inch of adjustment travel. I wish it had more, as this would help with balancing out heavier accessories. The slots on the base provide ample positions for camera position to balance out the weight and the base itself has a rubberized bottom that grips the bottom of the camcorder nice and secure. The handle itself is covered in a foam material with finger indentations along the top. I'm not too sure about the long term durability of this material but it seems decent enough. It does have a rather strong chemical odor to it, but I expect that to fade quickly enough. The bottom tightening screw has a tripod thread, but its usefulness is hampered by the foot rails, which would get in the way of mounting it on just about anything but a small ball head and certainly not a larger video head. Some other handles, such as the Zeikos version of this, which have individual feet at each corner versus the full rail design of this one, making mounting on a tripod possible. So, if you want to have the ability to mount the handle to a tripod on occasion without disassembly, look elsewhere, such as the Zeikos version at the low end or the Cam Caddie at the higher end. But for run and gun shooting with no tripod use, this handle gets the job done at an unbeatable price.

Nice Low Cost Option
Easy choice for an entry level camera grip. Makes it easy to carry a cam at the ready or grab it quickly. You can stick it out there for that special shot and keep a firm grip on your equipment or set it down on the ground and your camera is up and out of the dirt and sand. It's a good quality product I've had a few months now and it is holding up well. It's plastic but its lightweight and low cost so there's that but otherwise very happy with this purchase.

Works very well
I hesitated buying this ForeGrip bracket after reading negative reviews of similar, and almost identical, brackets. Some people said they were flimsy, weren't big enough to hold their camera, etc.The reason I bought this grip is that I've been taking videos of my girlfriend's toddler granddaughters, and it's very difficult to stoop over while running behind them taking videos with my Panasonic GH3. It's also difficult to hold the camera steady in this hunched position. But with the ForeGrip I can stand up straight, holding my arm at my side, and follow the kids around easily. And even though the grip has no built-in steadying hardware, letting the camera hang with my arm fully extended results in some remarkably steady video. Some have complained that the brackets are flimsy. They are not. They are built of very sturdy plastic, and under normal usage, they should last a long time. Sure, if you run over it with your car, the bracket will break. Otherwise, I expect no problems with the bracket as regards to sturdiness. For some people, particularly those with sweaty hands, the foam handle covering may deteriorate in a couple of years. But this is not a problem for me because I take care of my equipment. For taking low-level videos, this bracket really fits the bill. I am very happy with my purchase.

not impressed
I know that this is only $10. I realize that you get what you pay for. This thing is pretty much all plastic which is good because it makes it lightweight but if you have a lighter weight camera like a go pro you might have an issue with there not being enough weight to keep the camera steady. I would opt for a metal one if I had it to do again. Also, I am using this with a gopro camera and the gopro camera tripod mount. The threads on this handle are a little too long for the gopro adapter so that the camera won't really tighten down. I fixed this by putting a large washer between the gopro tripod mount and the handle base. There are plenty of adjustments for this and I do think it is worth the $10
