I thought it would be uncomfortable to write on the laptop keyboard, but on the lowest level, and getting a bit used to the new angle, I barely notice it now. It helps lifting the screen a bit which is why I needed it, I can sit more comfortably, I can take it to college and use it in the library, and I can use it with my laptop on tablet mode, on a higher angle, for writing with the stylus. Overall, does its job, I'm happy with it.

Love this stand! Great for holding up my iPad and for when I want to write/draw. It’s also lightweight and comes in a pouch—convenient for storing in my bag. Very excited to start using this when classes start up again!

This is by no means the best and by no means the worst portable laptop stand out there. I returned it because it didn't meet my expectations of value for price paid.**THE GOOD**- Elevates the laptop screen pretty significantly once it's set up - moreso than many of the laptop stands available.- Once set up, feels fairly stable.- Folds down fairly small for easy transport.**THE NOT SO GOOD**- Made of significantly cheaper metal than it appears to be. That's the quality level here. I feel like If I intentionally smacked this thing on a table, the metal might break in half.- Weighs a lot for its size. I expect this is because of the materials used.- Due to materials used, this product is something I'd expect to buy at a street bazaar for about $8-10. For that price, it would be a keeper. At the prices its going for on Amazon, not so much.- Annoying to adjust. The support arms swing freely, so adjusting in the fly is not particularly confidence-inspiring. When setting up, I kept feeling like I was going to miss the holes and have my laptop fall off the stand.- All but the lowest angles will over-tilt a MacBook Pro (2015 model in my case) to the point where the screen is pointing in and down, rather than vertical. These high-angle settings might be useful for a tablet, but are not useful for my laptop.- Also, many of the reviews of this product are completely fake and recur on other laptop stand reviews. Amazon, do something about this, the fake reviews on consumer products like these are completely out of control.Anyway, you could do better than this, you could do worse than this. I ended up paying more for the much-higher-quality Rain Design mBar Pro+. Yeah, it's more expensive, but it's lighter weight for travel, better quality, sets up faster, and frees up more space on my desk.

I am a college student who needs their laptop most of the day. I have had my laptop a few years and there have been quite a few times where I wish I had something to set it on so it wouldn't get so hot. Another problem I have had in the past is straining my neck by looking down or up at my laptop for hours due to the screen being at the wrong height. I bought this stand to try to solve those problems. It did so much more than just solve a problem. This stand is great for so many different things. I can use it to set my laptop, a textbook, or a notebook on. It's small and lightweight so I can take it to the library as well as sturdy and should last a long time. It opens up easily and adjusting the height is simple as well. Due to the nature of a portable laptop stand, I wouldn't go around stacking a 50 lb weight on top of it. That being said, I would recommend this stand to anyone that is looking for something portable and lightweight. Overall, I think this is a great product and plan on using it for years to come.

I love this thing! I was looking for a simple laptop stand to use my macbook air on my sit/stand desk, and this one is great. I adjust the height often since I use my desk at different heights for writing on a wacom tablet vs. using the keyboard & mouse, and it's so easy to adjust the height of this stand. I don't even take my macbook off anymore to adjust the height -- it's that easy & sturdy! I love how light it is and how small it folds down -- I'm looking forward to being able to take it to a coffee shop and set up a more ergonomic desk in less than a minute.I spent a good deal of time researching laptop stands before I bought this. I was looking at the STbracket stand, and I'm so glad I went with the laptop stand. It has a bigger range of heights (up to 11 inches), which I needed, and, of course, it's cheaper. I highly recommend this stand!

My husband works in IT and loves gadgets, but only “if it serves a functional purpose." He needs to be able to carry everything with him as a "mobile office". I can’t even begin to tell you how amazed he is with the Nexstand Laptop Stand. He uses both a Dell XPS and a MacBook Pro for his day job, and this stand has replaced the one that he used to use daily (Kavalan Portable Laptop Stand). He loved when he first folded it out, the initial stock position was the perfect vertical height for him (and he is 6’3”) Nothing drives him quite as crazy as having to look down at hislaptop screen and strain his neck. Even his desktop displays are not at eye level for him. With this stand, not only does he have the vertical height right out of the gate, it’s super lightweight, well put together (for a plastic stand) and accommodates what he need it to do.

I have an HP gaming laptop with a sharp bevel edge that alot of different laptop stands didnt quite work out for it until this stand popped out of the search. The material is a cheap version of aluminum but it is strong therefore is sturdy. If you try to bend it, it probably wont bend but crack instead hahhaa but still strong. I wish it can open wider but it is what it is. The rubber feets and pad is plentiful and guarantee no slipping or scratching. But I am returning this product because I found a lower price from another chinese seller.
