🌊 Dive into tranquility with Duckweed!
5 Cups of Live Duckweed (LEMNA Minor) is a resilient, free-floating aquatic plant that thrives in low to moderate lighting, making it an excellent addition to shaded ponds and aquariums. Koi fish adore it, and it helps maintain a healthy aquatic environment.

Better than I expected.....
Plants are doing well, I would say about 90% was green and healthy. Even with the high temperature during shipping the plants did well.

probably needed less..lol..
It came and has grown (like a weed!) the bag of water stank, but thats what I expect when water plants get shipped. I just strained it through a strainer and rinsed it out. Its made a huge difference in my little goldfish pond. the fish like to eat it, and its kept the water much cooler and cleaner.. Its done so well I have had to remove some of it occasionally. I have been trying to over winter some of my water plants, but I dont think I will try this with the duckweed. I will just buy a couple cups in the spring and by summer the pond will be nice and shaded..

Looks more like wolffiella duckweed
Comes in a ziplock. Looks more like wolffiella duckweed, which if you know duckweed, it's the almost the smallest size.

dead on arrival
When I opened the package it had an aweful smell and the plants were brown. I had hoped that after a few days in my pond they would be OK but they were all dead. So disappointing.

Make sure you know what you are buying...
I should have done my homework before buying this. The seller did their job exactly and shipped the plants very quickly. The product itself, however, are super tiny, like the head of a pin (picture is magnified many times). They look ugly on the surface of a pond and clogged up the filtration system immediately. Furthermore, the plant is very invasive and required draining and sanitizing the pond and all the equipment. Fortunately I hadn't purchased any expensive water lilies at that point. All of this was completely my fault by not researching this duckweed before buying it. Again, the seller did their job perfectly, just do your homework and know what you are getting before buying this.

A good deal
Got delivered to my PO Box by mistake (mine), but survived OK even though it wasn't picked up immediately. A few dead plants, but the rest revived quickly. Five cups was way more than I needed for my small pond and fish tank. Others have commented on the smell and other critters in with the plants but my shipment smelled fine and I didn't notice anything other than duckweed.

it's growing!
Dumped the duckweed into a 50 ft pond. It dispersed all over. And disappeared. And then today I noticed a cluster about 6 inches in diameter. So it's growing!
