Karcher K4 | K5 Full Control Pressure Washer Set Back Foot 4.100-775.0

Worked and repaired my pressure washer. So happy customer

Fitted K4 full control perfectly and this replacement part has been upgraded to metal (in act of guilt for the dreadful plastic molded original?) by Karcher. Bear in mind before you get over confident 1) The yellow plastic case is a mare to put back on - has little tabs everywhere 2) the tiny plastic power switch arm is attached to a hugely heavy motor. Put it down wrong when open and it WILL snap. Moderate to hard DIY difficulty all over because its a "muddle".Good videos on you tube. If you were doing it twice hey no problem. Its just a challenge to the unwary / first time fixer. If you are confident go for it as will save a lot of money.And if you do break that power arm - which you hopefully won't now I have told you to watch for it - turn the internal switch on with a screwdriver, leave it on and use the mains as your main power on/off. It's not worth cutting a waterproof switch into the mains lead for. Honestly - I should have won this round of "does DIY" - felt a bit cheated of my prize when that arm pinged off. :(

The ordered part was simple to fit and solved my Karcher K4 Full control leak.The part seems to be far better quality than the original part.

The original angled pipe (plastic) coming out of the back foot on my K4 pressure washer failed along the moulded seam. I hadn't used the pressure washer much and was somewhat annoyed that it failed. However I managed to source this replacement piece (the angle pipe is metal on the new part) via Amazon. As mentioned in some reviews, I had to open up the outer casing of the pressure washer to fit the part, there is too much friction and I was concerned that being too forceful would break other components. It was straight-forward to fit once the unit was opened up. Took about 20 minutes to fit overall.

Great upgrade as metal instead of plastic and easy fit as you don't need to take karcher apart just remove unshaped pin then twist out part then replace nice as easy

Reviewed most the comments from other purchasers of this item. Some clearly experienced slightly more difficulty than others. YouTube was particularly helpful for me. Cutting a long story short the part arrived this morning. I applied a little grease first and the part virtually slipped into place absolutely no problem. I’ve tested the power hose with this replacement part fitted and it works perfectly.🤞🏼Good service from the supplier who gave me a date of delivery and it arrived on time. Really, this should be a replacement part by Karcher as it’s clearly a defective part.

Worked a treat. Easy to fix and stoppedLeak straightaway. With it being solid metal it should hopefully last a lifetime. Saves ditching the machine with this easy fix.

Wow what a pain this is to fit. This should have been a very simple and straightforward swap, but the inlet hole on the metal elbow is half a millimetre too narrow for the connecting pipe on the karcher.So I'd read other reviews talking about filing the connecting pipe on the karcher down a bit, so I did that. I used some grease on both parts but still no luck. It's simply impossible to push/attach the replacement unit onto the connecting karcher pipe as the pipe moves back slightly in the karcher housing. After alot of messing, and filing of the connector and the inlet of the elbow, I found taking the elbow out of the plastic housing, attaching the housing onto the karcher and then pushing the elbow through the housing onto the connecting pipe, with the aid of a small hammer, was the only way to fit it. Make sure to use a lubricant and not to use too much force with the hammer, small taps worked best.Karcher obviously know the original part doesn't last long, hence the metal upgrade, but the replacement isn't identical in size to the original and really does need to be corrected!Hope this helps others

Il raccordo originale mi è esploso all'improvviso dopo nemmeno 3 anni di vita, in cui avrò utilizzato l'idropulitrice una ventina di volte. Ridicolo è dir poco! Controllando meglio ho notato che erano due metà di plastica speculari "saldate" insieme da chissà quale mastice scadente e mi sono meravigliato che sia durato 3 anni.Questo invece è un'unica colata di alluminio, solido e robusto. Dà tutt'altra impressione, positiva. Costicchia, ma probabilmente durerà più dell'idropulitrice stessa. È un tutt'uno con il supportino per reggere il tubo, così come il pezzo originale. Si installa in un battibaleno, ci riuscirebbe anche un bambino. Per questo la Karcher è da lodare perché ha progettato i pezzi in modo tale da cambiarli in modo semplice e veloce senza la necessità di attrezzi particolari.

Funktioniert einwandfrei ! Der Einbau ist etwas fummelig- musste einen kleinen Hammer zu hilfe nehmen um den Sicherungsstift rein zu bekommen. Das Ergebnis ist sehr gut . Gerät ist wieder einsatzbereit.

1000 veces mejor que el original, esto es de aluminio, se ajusta la perfección con el K5
