8x8 Cable Management System - 2-pack Black

Each box of cablox organizers had two cablox squares in each, so I ended up with four. 'Stuck 'em on my wall to organize and art-ify all the wires hanging down from our wall-tv, hanging from the back of our xbox, and hanging between the tv and my laptop (it was a big ugly spiderthing before, really)-- and I like how our wall looks now. It looks cool now, with a criss-cross wire highway going on on the wall now. I already nailed the hdmi cable to the plaster-wall with cable tacks, but I didn't like it. If I wanteed to rearrange the wires, it was going to be a lotta hassle to tug them through the tacks' holder-things, so... working with cablox cord organizer was more more fun to string wires through. c:If I had more cablox and more wires, I could make a Terminator brain chip design on the wall... =3= hmmmm...The plastic is reeeeally durable and has space enough in between the little stalks/buds/sticks/gripperthings to hold A fat wire cable (like the width of a fat HDMI cable or the fat wire of an xbox's AC adapter/powersourcething). The sticky backing is a tad more gooey and feels like it's meant to be a little more permanent than those 3M wall-mounting tape. I'm good with that.I understand this isn't a verrrrry informational review, but for how much I appreciate the product, for getting it delivered to me sooner than Amazon estimated, and for IPPINKA askin' through Amazon-email-things how well my expectations were met-- I gave 5 stars. Thanks.(BTW, don't bend your cables at 90-degree angles. That's just being mean to your cables. I bent and rerouted mine at about 45-degree angles and didn't hug wires parallel to each other [to lessen chance of interference, ya know]) Ok, thank you.

Thought these were the bee's knees, but after 2 weeks all of them that I used failed. Either the plastic separated from the white foam glue bit, or the glue came off the desk. Either way I was left with fallen and dangling wires. May try again with this product but probably not and I'll be seeking alternatives.

Really cool idea and form factor, but fell down after about a week :( I might have tugged on one of the cables accidentally maybe? Anyway, doesn't seem to be that robust a solution.

I liked this product except one major flaw.....There is the plastic piece and a thick foam sticker that adheres it to a surface. I have mine mounted under my glass desk and love it.A week later the sticky part between the plastic and the foam sticker came off so now there is a sticker stuck to my glass desk and a separate plastic piece. that is now dangling under my desk.this has happened to 3 separate pieces of the 12 i installed in my office. I am going to try to hot glue gun this. if anyone has a way to make this work let me know.

It's a great innovative way to get cords under control

Use this item underneath my desk to organize all the cables and cords for my computer system. Very easy to install...just peel and press. Then I just fed the cords through the organizers, one by one.It's very sturdy (more stiff than I expected it to be, which is a good thing). The sticky side seems strong and able to withstand me pulling against it as I fed cords through it. I've had it for a couple of months now, and everything is still snugly in place.Highly recommend for organizing orders under a desk or along a wall.

Fell off when the cold weather came

I've had this for a couple months now. I like the design and overall it works well except for one issue.The issue is that the double sided tape comes away from the plastic. It's separated twice now. I'm not sure that it's due to the number of cables I've got in it. For it's size I would expect it to handle 2 power cables, 2 video cables and a half dozen usb cables without any issues.I've also got the smaller version and it's worked with no issues.
