Outstanding Speakers!
Having been a car audio enthusiast since 1989, this is one of the best sets of speakers I've owned and definitely the best sound quality for the buck. I just ripped out Rockford Fosgate PPS4-6 speakers which cost $90 per each speaker, plus a set of RF dome tweeters and I never liked the sound at all. The midrange was muddy and boomy and the tweeters were harsh. These Infinity speakers replace that setup and now I have quality sound. I am powering these with a Rockford Fosgate 4-channel amp rated at 150W per channel RMS. These speakers stand up to that power just fine.As far as installation, you get the speakers and grills, various screws, mounting plates, the foam gasket for between the speaker and mount. The depth is very thin to accommodate door mounting with power windows. The tweeter can be positioned to aim it as you please. The only thing I needed additional was Boom-Mat baffles. I recommend spending the few bucks to get these, as they will keep moisture off your speakers (from the water that runs down the windows into the door) and also keep sound from booming around inside your door. It just sounds better.I recommend buying DynaMat eXtreme as well, which is a bit pricey but will do two things -- improve your sound quality and reduce the road noise. It just doesn't make sense to install really good speakers without going this extra mile. Don't forget to also use Dynamat also on the back side of the door panel trim especially around where the door pockets are and around the area of the speaker. This will prevent the speaker from rattling the plastic and making noise.People ask if it comes with the speaker wire. No, it doesn't, and you shouldn't need any if you are replacing an existing door speaker. Cars these days are build to accomodate a good system. Back in the 70's and 80's cars only had one speaker wire (the +) and the chassis was the ground, and that one wire was way to thin to be used for anything useful. These days, they all come with proper wiring that you can easily run 150W without concern. In most cars, those speaker wires are also properly twisted for noise cancellation, etc. You should not have to do anything with the wiring.

Powerful, clear, balanced. 2011 honda ridgeline
I'm not an audiophile. For years I drove cars with bare bones audio systems. Then I bought a car with a Harmon kardon factory system and was blown away at what good audio sounded like in a car. When that car was totaled, I sought to replicate the sound. Super clear vocals supported with punchy bass that i get to enjoy, not the car next to me. After many reviews, I bought these. This purchase was partially driven by the shallow mounting depth available in the doors of the 1st generation honda ridgelines. These fit with no interference with the windows. I supported them with a mild amp: Kenwood KAC-M3004 because I wasn't confident that my head unit could drive these to their potential. I also added a small 8" powered subwoofer: Rockville RW8CA. I don't know that the subwoofer was all that necessary, but it does really help support the speakers. for songs with heavier bass lines like hip hop, edm, reggae, etc...Lastly, if installing into a G1 ridgeline... I added tweeters to the dash: Alpine SPS-110TW. These really help shift the sound stage in the vehicle and brings the vocals right in your face. If you are looking to improve the sound in your ridgeline, start with these tweeters and see if its enough change. If not, do the door speakers. Lastly do the subwoofer if necessary.I am writing this review nearly 2 years after install and they are still working amazing and friends that ride often comment how good the system sounds on a wide range of music. I'd say I got about 85-90% of the way to the factory harmonn kardon system and am very happy with the result. I will be purchasing these speakers for future vehicles.

Would buy again
Definitely an upgrade from base speakers in my Model S. More clarity and a bit more bass than factory but nothing crazy but you can tell. Definitely gonna have to do the rear doors now.

Clear and loud!
These rip. I've got these in my fairing pushed with a Kenwood 600watt Amp and these absolutely crank.80mph crystal clean.Bass isn't subwoofer bass..hello, but these have such great clarity through the range that their full even without having tons of bottom. These have an extended tweeter so if you're mounting in a fairing they need to go inside the pods which does require some fitting.Overall I LOVE my bike audio and these speakers pair real well in high output applicationsExcellent bang for the buck5 stars 5 stars 5 stars

Excellent sound quality, best value for the money
Installed in place of the standard door speakers in a Tesla Model S.Amazing sound quality, very detailed soundstage and at the -3dB tweeter setting also very balanced reproduction, best value for money you can buy. I strongly suggest you go for these even if you are outside the United States like me, as you will not regret your decision to pay for the import duties. For me, this is one of the best speakers in my long years as an audio enthusiast and DJ.On the photos you can see the resistance of the loudspeaker and the installation steps.

Not bad, even pretty good, but kind of krispy
I can't say that I've had enough time with these speakers (30 mins brand new) to let them A) break in, and B) ...well, break in. But I HAD to scoot on to my computer sofa and write a review because I heard so many glowing reviews. I wondered why anyone else even bothers making speakers when Harman was producing these crowd favorites.4 in the doors of a Ridgeline. Stock (Pioneer makes it for Honda) 5 ch HU no amp. Doors treated with 80 mil Noico brand butyl sound dampener, also purchased here. Stock tweeters removed. Stock subwoofer (ported 8" behind passenger rear seat). It sounds pretty good in here. Compared to what I was used to, A totaled '08 Tacoma 4dr with an active 3 way setup (Alpine HU, Image Dynamics comps, Polk MM sub, Soundstream 5 ch A/B amp... it was nasty). The mids and highs are seemingly clear but even with the tweeters set to 0dB there is a sense of a harshness or prominence in the treble I guess, like maybe fatiguing? Like I said, barely any time played so they are still stiff and crispy. They thump midbass pretty good and I'm thinking after some time they will open right up.A lot louder earlier on the dial, they are 2 ohm after all. Shakes the door panels!I will update stars if these drivers make me see them. I am going to install an Alpine KTP-445 behind the stock HU and will report how the Kappas do on 45w rms instead of probably18.They did include awesome mounting accessories so I'll give four stars. These worked with Scosche HAR6 speaker adapters like they were made for each other. I did not use the included Honda brackets on my truck or even try to.To close I'd have to say that the sound quality is pretty good, and I may be hearing a factory HU eq curve as well, but they are sporting a very slick hi-fi sound that will impress. Will update after some time...

No brainer purchase!!!
Hey guys. I started out with pioneer TS series 5.25 and 6.5 speakers powered with a JL 6 channel amp driving them. They sounded ok, but after doing a lot of research on the infinity kappa line, I pulled the trigger and purchased the 5.25 and 6.5 kappas to replace the pioneers. I always thought that maybe the JL amp wasn't all that impressive, but after installing the kappas, HOLY SH*T. They are amazing speakers. They flat out scream without any distortion. Snares pop and cymbals crash with impressive clarity. The sound reproduction is amazing. Vocals and everything else sound fantastic. It never was the amp, it was the garbage pioneer speakers powered at 4 ohms as opposed to the kappas running at 2 ohms. Less ohms = more power!!! If you've been on the fence with these speakers, get the he'll off and get these babies ASAP. World of difference. This is coming from extremely hard to please and picky ears. In case you were wondering, I have the I infinity reference 3.5 speakers in the dash and those are nice as well. I will likely remove them and go kappa at some point so everything is mirrored. If your looking for incredible subs, look into Rockford Fosgate P3D2's. I'm running 2 10's on a Rockford Fosgate power 600.2 amp. It really brings the system home.

Got these on sale to happily replace my stock infinity speakers that were wearing out ...
2-Ohm speakers are a challenge to find that fit my car. Got these on sale to happily replace my stock infinity speakers that were wearing out in the front of my 300M.Installation is pretty easy. My car had a wire harness that fit specifically to the stock speakers, so I had to cut the wire and put them into the two channels and screw them down so they wouldn't fall out. I also had to drill into my door panel to mount the speaker properly. Door panel plastics are pretty sturdy. These speakers sound fantastic. The front speakers in my car are subwoofers, so the coaxial speakers in these help pick up the sound and work well with my door tweeters. The coaxial speakers are 3-Ohm while the speaker itself is 2-Ohm. These speakers are a great upgrade for subwoofer speakers, or speakers without tweeters, to add more sound to the car. The bass is very crisp, and the sound in general is very good.Very impressed so far, and I plan on keeping Infinity throughout my car once I replace the other stock speakers.

5-Star Speakers
Absolutely incredible speakers. Installed these 62.11i infinity speakers in two GMC Terrains and they sound 10x better than the OEM speakers. Changed nothing but the speakers and it made an ocean of difference.
