Quartz Clock Movement 4.8 mm (3/16 inch)

PURCHASED THIS TO REPAIR A CLOCK THAT WE ALREADY HAD. VERY EASY TO INSTALL, QUICK AND SIMPLE, MADE AN OLD CLOCK USABLE AGAIN

Seems like good quality. Clock hands are not too stiff so it’s easy to bend slightly which was good for me because I was fitting one of these hands with 2 older hands. Size of hole in hand was ever so slightly bigger than I thought, but easily fixed - better than being smaller.

Replaces a movement on a plate. Exact size to match what we had. Take the time to figure out what your dimensions are before ordering. Works great!

I used this unit to replace an existing works in a nice wall clock. Was concerned it was not the correct one (many choices) but it turned out to be excellent. I like the hands. Was easy to install. Had to make sure the time adjustment wheel on the back wasn't in contact with wall when hung as the pressure keeps the clock from operating properly... quite sensitive.

The previous works in my special clock died after nearly 20 years of service. I replaced it with an almost identical Quartex movement. Easy job. The instructions are simple and CLEAR--in good English (how refreshing!) The ticking sound of the second hand isn't as loud, which is good... although I used the louder ticking of the previous works to time certain exercises. But if you're trying to sleep, this will be a relief.

The movement seems to work ok, though it's only been running for an hour. 3 negatives: 1. The battery compartment barely accommodated an Eveready AA battery requiring lots of forcing. Sure a snug fit is necessary, but this was nuts. 2. The time adjuster on the back is as minimal and cheap as it gets. That makes setting the time more of a pain than needs be. 3. Small, petty gripe - I don't recall seeing a choice of colors for the hands. If I missed that, it's on me. But to default to white color, not a great contrast color, seems silly

Product was as described although I ordered the item with an 11/16" overall length when I actually needed a 13/16" overall length. Assembly was fairly easy and unit functioned as described. Will get longer shaft next time and will probably order from Klockit again. Great product for replacement.

The replacement movement arrived on time and in new condition. It was quick and easy to install, with clear directions provided by the manufacturer. I was able to reuse all but the second hand off of my old clock to retain its former look. After a week it's going strong with no issues.

Little expensive but had a hard time finding a motor with a very long centerpiece have no problem with it put it in a really big ass clock that was worth lots of money
