Pretty good wrist grip for the money, but I needed to swap out the bottom plate for a smaller metal one
This product is not made of real animal leather, more like polyurethane "Pleather" material. This makes it less comfortable on a sweaty day, but more water resistant on a rainy day, though I prefer for a seller to be honest and accurate about what they are selling. The design of it works as intended, making it a snug way to grip my camera securely, with a backup strap around the wrist to keep the camera from accidentally being dropped off the arm. Like any grip of this type that holds the camera firmly against your hand, it makes it a little more awkward to reach the buttons on the lower back of the camera with your thumb, and requires you to unlatch the wrist (safety) part of the strap when you want to sit the camera down.I did not use the plastic plate intended to be screwed into the tripod mount. It was unnecessarily large in length and would have interfered with the battery door on the bottom of my camera, requiring the plate to be removed every time the battery was removed for charging, which means every time the camera is used since I cannot charge the battery inside the camera. I instead purchased this item: (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L9F89J4/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)which is a smaller stronger metal plate performing the same function, but not blocking access to the battery door. It was easy to remove the plastic part from the strap and replace it with the metal one, threading the strap into the slotted end of the plate, guaranteeing resistance from both fatigue cracking and strength when the camera is carried using my shoulder strap attached to the "hole" end of the metal plate. I am thus dinging the review one star for the cheap bulky plastic bottom plate and the inaccurate description about the leather, but leaving 4 stars because it is comfortable and works well using the substituted new bottom plate. The plastic part might have functioned OK on a larger DSLR camera with the battery door in a further away location, but my smaller Olympus OM-D E-M1 needed a smaller plate, and I wanted the security of metal, not molded plastic. It should be noted that because ALL such straps require the use of an attached bottom plate, the camera will not sit flat on a table unless the plate is unscrewed from the camera's tripod mount, and there is no way to quickly remove this grip from the camera where it attaches at the strap loop at the upper end of the camera, because there is no quick-release buckle on that part of the strap.

Attractive, quality DSLR camera strap
This is a comfortable and attractive addition to my DSLR. The padding is plenty and the length of the straps ample for adjusting the whole thing to one's comfort. However, I found I don't use it much after all, as I found being strapped in constantly made me feel confined.

it's not Genuine leather, even the product itself marks on the tag attached saying not leather. Disappointing by the misleading description but OK with the other parts, so far.
