this ultra tower is great
this tower though less expensive really is built well and is very quiet and runs cool . the fans are all oriented to really keep everything from overheating and the design is very attractive as well . Also this tower has enough space to upgrade to be a great gaming tower as well . I would recommend this case to anyone who is looking for a case that is built well and can be expanded to grow with the gamer in mind as well as a regular computer owner that wants a great case on a budget .

Good case for the price.
So far I'm very happy with this case. It is sturdy and looks nice. I really like that the power supply is bottom mounted so it feels less like it's going to fall over than other cases I have.I took 1 star off because the radiator for my water cooler didn't fit in the rear fan vent -- it was blocked by what appeared to be structural attachments protruding into the area where the fan goes. I was able to get it attached with longer, non-stock, screws.

This unusually well-built case easily accommodates a full 500W bottom-mount power supply and two 120mm cooling fans.
Many similarly priced cases have unfinished (sharp) interior edges and some don't even feature a motherboard mounting tray. Every aspect of the metalwork on this case is flawless and the attached hardware packet contains more than enough standoffs and screws to mount any motherboard. I found the quick-connect mounting system for all types of drives to be very easy to use and perfectly adequate for my needs.

This case is good for the money.
The only issue I encountered with this case was that the power button was not connected. So when the build was finished and the computer did not power up, I wasted a lot of time trouble shooting every other component before discovering that somebody at the factor forgot to attach the power module under the switch. So hours of troubleshooting could have been avoided by a five minute fix which involved just removing the from of the case, which snaps out and in. That aside, if you don't plan on gazing at your desktop, this seems to handle any installation, including high power, high heat gaming installations with space for 3 case fans, if needed.

For this price I was seriously expecting something that was marginally better than the cardboard box it came in
Ah, so you just burned your PC budget on all sorts of computer parts... THEN you realize that you need a box to put it all in. Same here. So I bought this case and crossed my fingers. In the past, I've have had to re-drill mis-aligned holes, fight broken plastic fasteners, re-glue USB ports, and straighten bent stampings. Then I would have to HIDE my ugly PC. For this price I was seriously expecting something that was marginally better than the cardboard box it came in. Surprise! I was very pleased to see a good looking, good fitting case. Is it the best on the market? No. But for overall value, this thing is sweet.

Much better than expected
Pros:PriceLots of interior space for components and extra cablesSturdy/well builtExcellent fit and finishNo sharp edges4 fan holesTop-mounted portsLong cables for built-insCons:Bottom-mounted power switch/LEDsNo dust filter for bottom air intakeNot enough stand-offs provided for an ATX mobo3.5" drive bays not so easyVery thin metal - especially side panelsI HATE knock-out PCI slot covers!I initially bought this case to replace my old one (under desk, home office work machine) which is big, old fashioned and ugly! Before I could move my innards into this case, we added a new CPU cooler to my son's gaming rig and could not close the cover!!! It looked like the Xblaster was up to the job, so I did the swap. The good news:Jr.'s Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO JUST fits - I think we have about 2mm to spare!!! That's because in a bottom power supply configuration, the CPU (and cooler) occupy the uppermost area of the case, where the power supply used to be and where the extra height provided by the convex section of the left side panel is NOT! His Gigabyte GTX 650ti graphics card fits in easily. I even had room to install a 120mm intake fan (with filter) in the left panel between the power supply and the CPU cooler. There are 2 things I don't like about bottom power supplies in general: Even in the best circumstances, the PC becomes a vacuum cleaner, sucking up all sorts of dust and dirt from the floor. In the worst case (mine) mounting the PC on carpet insures NO airflow to the power supply. Not to worry! Simply mount your power supply upside down so it acts as an extractor fan from the case (as it was intended to be). Then cut a piece of cardboard, rubber mat, vinyl flooring etc. in the shape of the not-supplied dust filter and slide it into the tabs under the case.I was very impressed with the quality of the interior paint (powder coating?) even after repeated ins and outs of the hard drives, not a single scratch! The bad news:Whomever designed the interior hard drive bays should be fired! There is no reason to turn these bays sideways. They are in the bottom half of the case where you would have no motherboard interference in a Micro ATX installation and even in my full ATX install, the power supply is the "neighbor" of most of the bays (no interference). In turning the HDDs sideways - and installing them upside down (with the connectors facing the right side of the case) you have 3 problems: You will need 90 degree SATA connectors because you are right up against the right side panel, the power cables will be bent in unnatural ways and you have to remove the RIGHT side panel to connect/disconnect the drives. I almost boxed the thing up and sent it back. Then I got to thinking....More Good News:I have never been a fan of tool-less HDD mounting. What's the point? You planning on losing your screwdriver? Even the best ones I've seen cause the HDDs to rattle and buzz sooner or later. With Jr.'s C drive running at 10K rpm, I would surely not bother! So with the tool-less clips removed, I can tell you how to do a proper job of mounting the HDDs:Ignore the written instructions (this saves you the trouble of buying a magnifying glass to see the pictures!) and do this:1. Install one of the supplied "rail screws" in the top right hole of your 3.5" drive. (I'm defining top right as you would see it by holding the drive with the connectors up and the PCB facing you).2. Slide the drive into the bay as far as it will go but still allowing the top 2 screw holes to be visible through the left mounting rail.3. Install screws in the 2 left holes. That's it!!!For added stability: Use a regular screw on the right side instead of the special "rail screw". After tightening the 2 left screws, remove the front bezel, insert your trusty screwdriver in one of the small holes and tighten the right side screw. This method gives you enough space to install the drives without the need for 90 degree cables and without doing damage to the power cables. It also keeps everything accessible by removing just the left side cover. To install a 2.5" drive, you could use the 2.5" mounting holes they provide on the bottom of the drive cage, but I decided to use a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter for 4 reasons:1. Better cooling.2. Easier wiring3. I'm using the space under the card cage to store my extra power cables.4. I already have the adapter. One final warning: When mounting the mobo, one of the holes labeled A/M (for use with ATX and micro ATX) DID NOT match a hole in my ATX mobo and could cause serious problems (fried mobo) if you install a stand-off in this position. Only put a stand-off where you mobo has a mounting hole.To summarize: If you're good with a screwdriver, it's a lot of case for a little money (on sale and with a rebate!).UPDATE: Upgraded to Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI ATX mobo and single Gigabyte GTX970 graphics. Tight fit for the graphics card but still going strong! Also, my case is a V1 and I don't know what changes were made for V2. I see no painted interior and different front panel in Amazon's pics..... And the price has gone WAY up! May not be the same value it was in '14.
