My new MacBook Air has USB-C ports only, so I recently upgraded to this USB-C memory card reader, and it has completely solved all of my data transfer needs. Moving files, movies and pictures, I needed something fast and reliability, and this little device delivers on both fronts. It's small design is small enough to use with the two USB-C ports next to each other without blocking the other port on the MacBook Air. It is very easy to use, just plug and play. Works well. compact sizeI have been using this Anker SD card reader to pull photos and video off SD cards, and it has worked exactly as expected. Plugged it into a USB-C laptop and phone and it was immediately recognized without any setup. The size is a big plus. It is small enough to live in a camera bag or laptop sleeve without getting in the way, but it still feels solid and well built. Card insertion is firm and secure, not loose. Transfer speeds have been consistent for my use, and I have not had any disconnects or read errors so far. If you need a simple, compact SD card reader that just works, this one does the job.

A really fantastic product! It just works so well with all of my usb-c devices—several cameras, two iPads and, iPhone. It’s fast and reliable and so tiny I can carry it at all times in my camera bag. Typical Ancher high build quality. And what a bargain! Highly recommended!

Works perfectly with my laptop and tablet. Significantly sped up my photo and video transfer compared to pairing. Small enough to ease transport Jo matter which bag I’m using. It’s got a great feel and quality construction.

Anker products are always great and work as advertised. I but, I keep using them because they are the best materials I have found.

Works well and is super small. I did not realize it was going to be this tiny so now have to make sure I put it somewhere where I'll remember it. The only issue I have is that the one I bought gets strangely hot. It's not just warm. It's overly hot, and not sure if this is supposed to be the case.

Works great out of the box. I recently upgraded my laptop that had a built in card reader to one that didn't have one. This product was a good replacement.

Works great with my iPhone 15. Easy to plug in and I like how it uses both SD and micro SD. Transferring pics from my GoPro to my iPhone was a breeze!
