Can I hook this up to my tv directly

Hello Michael. The Bose 201V speakers are designed to be powered by a receiver or amplifier. TVs do not have enough power to drive the speakers. The 201V speakers will handle 10-120 W per channel at 8 ohms so any receiver with an output in that range will work.

Would these pair well with the acoustimass 10 5.1 setup? I want to make it a 7.1

The 201s make excellent surrounds. Pay close attention to the wiring diagram. The surrounds will be connected directly to your receiver, not to the bass module like the others are.

Is this a 8 ohm speaker?

I’m sure you could. Well I would try in your situation. Wouldn’t here in Louisiana. The outdoor Bose speakers sound better, for their purpose . But I love these.
