Hands down my favorite grappling spats. As some other reviewers mentioned these are thicker than most of the other brands I have used but I have never had a problem with them being too hot. The thickness I believe is one reason they are so durable. They are super comfortable and stay in place without having to constantly adjust them. These spats are an incredible bargain at this price. I got my wife a pair for cardio kickboxing and she too prefers them to her others. Just a note the Hawk long sleeve rashguards are awesome too. Customer service is top notch,quality sets industry standards and price is unbeatable. After purchasing rashguards, shorts and spats AND using them, I can whole hearted recommend Hawk products and...I do!

A very comfortable and well fitting pair of compression pants at a low cost. The quality was much better then expected and the fit was perfect. The material is light weight and seams are well stitched. Definitely will buy more of these.

I was looking for an alternative to the higher priced under armor or nike brands and decided to try Hawk, based on previous reviews. The product is comfortable to wear and have no problems with movement during BJJ or in the gym. The compression in the garment feels more overall, as compared to an UA or Nike compression that provides support for specific muscle regions. The garment is also thicker than my other more expensive brands, trapping heat, causing me to sweat more during workouts. This is the main reason these garments are not in my primary rotation of gym clothes, instead I use them while others are in the wash. I would highly recommend them if your gym is cold or you like to sweat more during intensive activity. The customer service from the brand has been excellent. My first pair of spats came with a slit in the crotch stitching. i contacted Hawk and they immediately responded, replacing the garment. Hawk had continued to follow up after to make sure the replacement garment met expectations. I will most likely purchase from them again due to this factor alone. I wanted to use them for a while before posting a review so I could give a more truthful appraisal of the product.

I do Brazilian Jitsu and I use these daily. They are amazing for the price I was very surprised of the quality for the price anything can rip and tear but the quality of these for the price is no comparison

I’m usually a 38, and the description said if you’re between sizes to order a size up, so I ordered the 40 and they fit perfect! Not too loose and not too tight. Great to wear in the gym under my 4” dual-layer workout shorts. I originally ordered 2 and just ordered 2 more so I can wear them a full workout week as I have a couple other pairs (that I paid almost 3 times the price each as one of these!!)

Good product and fit well. However, the seem on the pant leg near the ankle is coming undone. Disappointing and I believe it’s too late for problem to be corrected. Update: after writing this review. The company reached out and actually sent me a new pair! Wasn’t expecting that, but it was greatly appreciated. New pair is great and the issue was corrected. Haven’t had an issue with the new ones, thanks guys

I’ve enjoyed wearing these for BJJ. They’re comfortable. Unfortunately, it only took a few live rounds for a mat burn to put a hole in the knee area. Would recommend buying for sports that don’t involve so much body-on-floor friction

I love Hawk products!! They’re well priced and are reliable in my Mixed Martial Arts exploits. To be honest, I’m not much of a grappler but I use these pants for open grappling sessions. I wish I could say I caught someone in a triangle in them I mostly use them to slip out and get back to my feet! But a high aid lift product and I would recommend for the price!

These are very comfortable, for comparison I normally wear a size 31 or 32 waist in Levi's jeans or Medium...and I got these in the size Large and the fit is absolutely perfect (5'9'', 170lbs). I've had them for over a year now and I wear these as under tights in colder weather when I am cycling or just under work pants. Work perfectly for that when trying to stay warmer but not too hot as if you had long john's on or something insulated on.

These are a good material pant but I had to repair them. I use a sewing machine. The waist band threading started to become disconnected from the legging after the first use. After a good go-round with a wide stitch, I use these very regularly for outdoor tick-prevention and BJJ rolling. If you sew, no problem. If you don't sew then you have to call in a favour or drop them off at a sewing shop.
