If you're looking for an easy way to jump into the exciting world of RC camera drones, the Blade 350 QX3 AP Combo has everything you need in one box.SAFE Technology Makes You Look Like a ProWhat makes the Blade 350 QX3 such a great camera platform? Advanced SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology. Using this technology, the Blade 350 QX3 gives you two flight modes that have been specially programmed for capturing aerial video and images. Both feature self-leveling and use GPS and altitude sensors to precisely hold position in a hover. SAFE technology will even land the aircraft for you if you activate the Return Home function.Smart ModePerfect for first-time drone flyers. In Smart Mode, the 350 QX3 will always fly in whatever direction the control stick is pushed. This is called Stick Relativity. It doesn't matter which way the nose is pointed. If you move the control stick to the right, even if the aircraft is spinning, it will fly to the right. Smart Mode also creates a SAFE Circle barrier that prevents the aircraft from flying too close to the pilot.AP (Aerial Photography) ModeFor more experienced drone pilots. In this mode, the Blade 350 QX3 responds to control inputs like a conventional RC aircraft without Stick Relativity. It also gives the pilot more control authority by turning off the SAFE Circle and allowing steeper bank and pitch angles. This makes it possible to get faster panning and tracking shots when you're shooting high-energy, action video.Alternate Flight Modes AvailableThe 350 QX3 gives you the option of accessing an alternate set of Stability and Agility flight modes. These flight modes are programmed for experienced quadcopter pilots who have mastered the basics and are ready for more aggressive response and aerobatic flight. To learn more about accessing Stability and Agility modes, see the manual.

Complete Suprise
I have a company called Droneworks in Myrtle Beach SC. We do aerial photography and mapping. My company owns seven drones(DJI Inspire,Two DJI Phantom 2+,3DR Iris,3DR x8,Walkera Voyager 3 and now the BLADE 350 QX3. I have to say this Drone shocked me. First its smaller then the other drones we have and a lot less expensive. My company needed another Drone to fill in for us because two of ours were getting repairs. I wasn't expecting to much from the Drone and basically hoping it would take some good photos and video and help us out for a little time until we got our other drones back. To our shock this Drone is incredible. The handling and response time on it is unreal. The drone is completely stable and an absolute joy to fly. I would highly recommend this drone for beginners to experts. Its just that much fun to fly . The only draw back that I have come across is the battery flight time which is disappointing since you are enjoying flying it. My longest flight time with this Drone has been for about ten minutes. If you are going to get it I would say get some extra batteries . I will be for sure keeping my eye on this company and look forward to their next Drone releases. They have gained a loyal costumer with this product.ChrisDroneworks SCwww.facebook.com/droneworkscarolina

Great Quadcopter super stable flight and smooth video.
Really great Quadcopter!! The camera for the price could be better, the camera by it self is around $400-500 so I would expect GoPro quality if not better. Video quality is over saturated which in my opinion makes nature flights look better! But the still images claim to be 16 MP and when you view said pictures on your mobile device they look decent but when you view these images on a TV or larger computer its not that amazing, for 16 MP I was disappointed so I have included a picture in my review so you can be the judge of that. For some reason the Quadcopter will not fly over where you took off, when I took off and flew it and tried returning to land it would not fly over where it took off from. Its called Safe circle or something of that sort, for me that was a problem because I had limited take off space and the second best space for a landing was still within that circle and I had to land in the grass which I did not want. The video is super smooth its like a crane is moving it, if you could not see the propellers in the video I would not believe it was from a Quadcopter. Also when flying this the direction of the stick will always be the same so if you take off and push the stick forward to move forward that direction will always be forward no matter the orientation of the Quadcopter. Also you can not exchange the camera for a GoPro so if you purchase the AP combo this will be the camera it has unless you modify it. Flight time for me was decent I tend to fly from 7-8 minutes and with my longest flight on it being a 8 minute, it flew fine but the battery was low when it had reached 8 minutes. Charging time for me was pretty fast I did not time it so I may be wrong with the charge times, when I had completed my 8 minute flight and plugged it in around 2 hours later I came back and the battery was done so it may have completed before that and remember my battery was almost dead. Would I recommend it to someone new? Yes I would its very easy to fly this one with little to no hassles getting it out of the box and up in the air!

If you are a beginner, this is the one to get!!!!
I am new to the world of flying drones, in fact I have never flown any type of RC aircraft.I purchased the Blade 350 QX3 because of all of the information and support offered online by Horizon Hobby. Lots of instructional videos and other information.I have taken four flights over the course of the weekend and approached the first few with trepidation of a crash or a fly away, so for the first three, I did not have the camera mounted to the drone. I quickly gained confidence as it was so easy to fly and if I felt I was starting to lose control, I would simply release the controls and the drone would immediately go into a stable hover. In smart mode it was so easy to fly that I was soon zipping around into tighter spaces that I would not have even thought about going into 48 hours ago.By the fourth flight, I was confident enough to mount the camera and the video and the still pictures that I captured were just great! I must admit that I was a little disappointed that the camera stored images on an SD card instead of transmitting them to my iPhone, would have been nice to save the extra step. The only problem that I have had so far has been calibrating the onboard compass, as it seems ridiculously complicated making all of the rotations and turns. I will be contacting Horizon Hobby customer support for assistance on this matter.Overall, I found this drone very simple to understand, operate, and get familiar with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering getting into this hobby. Hope this review helps!!!
