Armix Rectangular Self-Clean Shower Head in CHROME Model ASH1266We have a Triton Rapide Electric Shower, which is predominantly used for daily hair washing, as for the most part, we prefer a bath to a shower. However, we still need a proficient Shower Head for daily use and this is one to recommend!• It arrives nicely packed in a sturdy cardboard box so the Shower Head is in perfect condition and the box can be recycled. In the box are the Shower Head and a matching bracket – complete with screws and raw plugs - for the wall, if required.• If you just want to replace your existing Shower Head and not fix the Wall Bracket, then firstly remove the protective cap from the screw section of the Shower Head. Unscrew your existing Shower Head and replace it with the Armix Rectangular. MAKE SURE YOU RETAIN YOUR EXISTING WASHER as you will still need it with this shower head. Job done! No tools or effort needed.• The Rectangular Shower Head is a good size and measures 2½ inches Wide x 3¾ inches Long. Obviously, with this style of Shower Head there is just the one spray pattern.• The Chrome finish is very high shine and that and the style of the Shower Head look sleek and modern. It is nice and lightweight to hold when hair washing.• This Armix Rectangular Shower Head is designed to save water and be self-cleaning. At this point in time, I am unable to comment on any lime scale build up, but I will edit this Review if necessary, as we do live in a very hard water area.I am very pleased and impressed with the look, feel and performance of this British Brand Shower Head. It looks and feels good and gives a nice even spray and I believe that we are low pressure. (We are certainly not high!)At time of writing this Review, the RRP for the Shower Head is just £9.99 which given the quality, is an excellent price. In the past, I have paid much more for less impressive shower heads.UPDATE - September 2020This Shower Head is scaling up. Not all the nozzles are letting the water through, so I had to de-scale it with a gel to free up the blocked nozzles.

This comes in a brown cardboard box and inside you get the shower head (wrapped in bubble wrap), wall mount and fixing screws.As the head is made of plastic, it is very light and easy to use. It has a very shiny metallic finish to it and looks very smart. Fixing was easy, as we already had a wand type head and wall mount. So, it was just a matter of unscrewing that one and screwing this one on.Sadly, the looks weren’t enough to take away from the fact that the flow from the head was not great at all. Even with both hot and cold taps on full, there was nowhere near the power we have with our existing one. The other issue was that there wasn’t a lot of hot water coming through – not a problem we have come across before. I took the head off and then screwed back on again, but to no avail. This must be due to the “water efficient flow”. Which is fine for cutting down on water usage, but no when you are trying to rinse shampoo or conditioner out of your hair. It also doesn’t account for the lack of hot water coming through.Based on our experience with this, we have reverted to our existing head.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Thankfully the water pressure in our flat is pretty decent so we did not have an issue with any showerhead we purchased, so I cannot say how well this showerhead would perform in a low water pressure scenario.The spray it creates is powerful and covers you pretty nicely, so you end up showered quicker which saves water as they mentioned in the product page.I do notice the limescale mechanism as it moves in and out of place by turning the water off and on, time will tell how effective it is at removing limescale, I am talking about months maybe a year or two, I am really interested. I will update the post with results.Other than that I am pretty pleased with the product it works well it is decently priced if it can live up to the expectations and is a British brand with 2 years warranty so the quality is excellent.

When this arrived I did think another shower head which would be rubbish but I was so wrong.We have a built behind tile shower so can only replace the shower heads and I find after a while the heads starts to block up and then the water don’t seem to come out fast enough so we go through shower heads quite often with the amount of showers that we have in this house.This is a very stylish rectangle shower head which as a self clean function, we have been using it for a few weeks and can’t believe how fast the water comes out and the coverage is just great it feels like one of them spa showers.Very easy to install, it comes with a holder but we didn’t use this as we couldn’t get ours out without pulling the tiles off.This shower head is the best one I have had in a while and sometimes I find myself just standing under it to relax.
