This case absolutely does not fit the 2018 fire HD 8 tablet!!! It's way too small. I'm so annoyed because I made sure to triple check it would fit my tablet. Don't buy!

Rating this one 3.5-stars because it deserves more than 3 but there is no option for 3.5. It does not have the appropriate cutouts for the Fire HD 8 Kids tablet. It is missing the cut outs for the speakers so the sound is muffled. It's not horribly muffled, but muffled nonetheless.

Easy to use and hold. However, there were no directions on how to insert the tablet into the case. After not being successful, I called a friend - and although her tablet is different from my Kindle Fire, she told me to bend the case.Finally got it on.

I’m glad I chose this case. It fits my daughters amazon tablet like a glove. We have already dropped it down the steps outside and there are no signs of damage to the case or tablet. Sounds comes out perfect. No muffled sound.

So I got my daughter a fire hd 8 tablet for her to watch movies and play some games read some books and I was wondering what protection I can get for this tablet because kids they don’t think about protecting there stuff they will drop it and you as a parent have the headache so I got this case it’s hard rubber it has 2 small stand in the back to fold out for the kids to watch movies or what ever they want and it has a handle to hold it like a lunch bag so far no complaints from me as a dad or my wife so I recommend it not bad for the price it does it’s job so thanks for reading my review have a bless one

I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas and it is adorable! More importantly, it is durable (we've already dropped it a few times) and the kickstands are great for handsfree viewing. I like that you can have it upright on the kickstands or more flat like a keyboard. The handle is also super convenient for carrying it around and in and out of the car. If something happens to it, I'll buy it again!

Nice firm foam, holds its shape well but provides a lot of impact protection. It was easy for a 3 year old to hold on to. It came with a black form in it, to maintain its shape while shipping; I thought the tablet would snap into the form and that there weren't cut outs for the ports and speaker like another reviewer said, but we pulled the plastic piece out and the tablet popped right in. Would buy again.

I bought this because I wanted a stand feature for her kindle fire. It fits her FreeTime kindle fire 8” perfectly. However, the only thing I don’t like is that the speaker holes are on the bottom back of the case, when clearly the speakers on her kindle are on the bottom (as seen in the last pic). Not sure if there are other kindles with the speakers placed in the back.It does create a more “muffled” sound from the front. You can hear it much better if you are behind the kindle, where the speaker holes are. I took my husband’s drill bit and drilled 2-3 holes in the bottom of the case, so the sound could escape more directly.Overall, I am happy with this product and my 3.5 year old loves that she can carry it around and it stands up. She also loves the “cat ear” feature and thinks it’s “adorable.” I would recommend to others and would just say that if you have a problem with the sound, just drill holes.
