The rebate is not 10mm
Good quality product. It lost one star because the rebate is 5mm not 10mm as stated in the product information. This matters in my case because the cuts I made to mount the cap on aren’t completely level, so I was hoping to level up the caps using small wood screws and applying no-nails to a greater thickness. If you have perfectly level ends on your posts this won’t be a problem, but I do think ALL the given dimensions should be correct.

Great supplier
I've fitted these to my oak banister and they match up well after applying a slightly stained oil. They're very tough and will last for years to come.I even had a custom size cap made after contacting them. They're very helpful with great customer service! A pleasure to deal with.

Easy to fit and look great
Look great and much better than the old painted acorns in the stairs they replaced.Very easy to fit and attach (I used Gorilla glue) and finished with a little linseed oil.
