Eastland Men's Brooklyn Ankle Boot

The picture is of a classic style and looks fine but the shoe upon arrival proved to be a disaster.The thin materials that covered the shoe bed was haphazardly glued with the result that there were noticeable bumps of dried glue that rendered the shoe unwearable. I ordered a 91/2 and it was tight as well so unless I got a very different batch of this shoe they run small. Infact nothing said in other reviews makes sense as these are smallish and poorly made on the inside.I don't understand all the good reviews, and I purchased these based on those reviews much to my great disappointment.With that in mind I am stating clearly that these shoes seem to be a mixed bag. Perhaps some buyers received a serviceable pair.I did not and so be careful when buying.I would not refer these to an enemy let alone a friend.Greatly disappointed in the workmanship and the product. I expect a seller to be aware of their product line and not even timely shipping can save the day if the product in question is terrible.They did arrive in a timely fashion.

This is a quality boot from an established American company. It fit me as expected, since I ordered a half size small as I do with all unlined camp mocs, boat shoes, etc., Then I put on sopping wet wool socks and walked the boost dry. Now they fit. I learned to do this in the Army, and it may have originated with Roman legionaries' sandals. It has always worked. Eastland offers at least three versions of this shoe, and for this one, the term "boot" is accurate. The heel is higher than some may expect or find comfortable. Other, similar, models have lower heels. I have been wearing Eastland footwear for a long time, and the quality is always there -- that is, there in America where Eastland makes them - - not missing, as it often is, from shoes made in China.

Cheap looking and feel, runs small

I have an old pair of these same shoes- about 3-4 years old. The new ones are labeled Burgundy, but they are closer to brown. Side by side the old pair had a very nice deep red hue, the new one are definitely a different color. I thought the color rendering in the pictures must have been off, but it's right on, so if you are looking for something redder, stay away from these

This shoe has to be a fake. I've been wearing eastland boots for more than 20 yrs and this is the first time this happened. The front of the boot is lifting and the quality is poor. when i compared it to my old eastland which I have for 20 yrs, the old one feels better.this boot could not be from eastland it's plain garage . I only wore it 2 times for like an hour eash time and the toe is lifting already. The bootlegger needs to be arrested...

excellent shoes. comfortable and beautiful. However, be careful for the winter, these shoes are not suitable, they are without insulation.

The right shoe is a little narrower than the left. This causes me a little pain after a few hours, but the leather is breaking in. I will buy these again as they provide appropriate coverage, support, and traction for winter..

Great looking and fitting shoe. Im not one blessed with good feet so i put Thorlos insoles on top of existing insoles and presto, still a great fit. Eastland is a flat sole boot with no arch support but, one great looking shoe/boot
