Avista TV Stand

Decent looking, solidly built, assembly is pretty easy solo.Directions are bit simplistic and could use some help; the shelves are not symetrical placement and you can get them mixed up.Package is heavy, 85lbs'ish. Lots of packaging. Lots and lots of styrofoam so make sure you can dispose of it.Once assembled, it is reasonably good looking and sturdy. I have a 60" screen on it and it looks good and is sturdy. Plenty of room for peripherals with good airflow on the shelves.It's not very tall, be aware of that.My only criticisms are directions could be slightly more clear regarding the shelves themselves, and it could be a bit taller.I will try to post back in a month to give a longer term update.

UPDATE: This company stands behind their product. Our new cat knocked a very heavy piece of lead crystal off our mantle five feet down onto the tabletop - basically equivalent to hitting it with a hammer - and shattered it. We contacted the company and they sent replacement glass at no charge even though it was past the warranty period. Can't ask more than that! Still love this table, very impressed with this company, would buy again and recommend to friends!This is a beautiful piece of furniture, very well packaged, easy to assemble, solid and sturdy, and looks great. We looked at many stands before picking this one, couldn't be happier, would buy another and recommend to friends. A bit more than we wanted to spend, but you get what you pay for, and quality is appreciated long after price is forgotten. Would give six stars if possible.

very nice looking, solid construction and easy to assemble with just an allen wrench (provided). Even easier if you can use a power drill for the wrench.Follow up: At the nine month mark the lower glass shelf spontaneously shattered. No injuries but quite a mess. Amazon was great and sent a no charge replacement.

This is a very attractive stand. It assembled easily, with good fit and finish. The open construction makes it easy to install equipment and run wires through the back. The shelves holds the four components I need (a DVR/Cable unit, two DVD/VCR units, and a FM receiver). I have a 60 inch Samsung on top. The base fits fine, but note that the screen extends beyond the stand on both sides by about 4 inches. There are no drawers though, so remotes must be left out on top or on the shelves.

This is a great contemporary stand. We use it in a corner and it really looks good there. The curved sides soften the transition from the 2 walls. It holds cable box, xbox, motion sensor, game controllers, a/v receiver and disk player all on the bottom 2 shelves. The black boxes are almost unnoticed in the dark wood and black glass. We like the height because the center of the tv is at eye level when we are seated. It was easy to assemble and the quality is very good for the price.

One of the side pieces had the finish applied upside down.... I was exceedingly pissed at the time of receipt, but as time has gone on, I like the stand. Looks great minus that one detail. That's the problem with these shipped furniture pieces: quality control. You have no idea what you will end up getting.

I purchased this item in April 2017. It's a beautiful looking piece of furniture and used it for my big screen TV. However, woke up one morning recently and found one of the shelves just shattered into literally 1,000 pieces. It was the middle shelf that was bearing no weight. There are no kids nor pets in the house that could have caused it. Fortunately, nothing happened to the top shelf that holds up the TV, nor the bottom shelf that holds a stereo receiver and DVD player. I'm very disappointed that it shattered.

I am so pleased with this TV stand. I wouldn't even call it a stand, it's a piece of furniture. It came packaged very securely no damages. It was easy to put together. It's absolutely beautiful. The black glass is very nice with the wood. No complaints,glad I bought this one!!
