It is drainpipe so there isn't a whole lot to discuss but I will give a quick overview. The pipe expands easily and you can snake it around obstacles and such but don't expect to make very tight turns without losing overall distance. Keeping that in mind, you are best served by keeping the run as straight as possible. I used this pipe to re-direct water from a downspout into a flowerbed and then distribute the water evenly for a number of plants including some hedges and small palms. The perforations did a good job without simply carrying the water to the end of the pipe. The walls of the pipe are sturdy enough to withstand gravel if you wanted to use this in a French-drain type of application. One thing to note is connecting this pipe directly to the elbow at the bottom of a 3x4 downspout is a tight fit. I bought this for a section of my gravel driveway that needs drainage help. When you pull this apart to extend it the holes appear..they are very small and whatever machinery was used to punch holes skipped or missed quite a bit, so about 2 feet on each end aren't perforated at all. I'm not sure this will even work after I go to all the trouble of digging a trench and burying it since drain holes are so tiny. Not worth returning though.
