White Orchids

This book is the prequel to the very first GLH book i ever read. I found ot in a used book store and read it in a single sitting. It has all the characteristic elements that I love in there books. Real faith,true love and an unforgettable storyine. If you haven't rest the sequel The Strange Proposal I highly recommend it also. I read it in highschool and have reread it many times.

I read this book, along with many Grace Livingston Hill books when I was a teenager. Reading them again brings back sweet memories. I recommend this book for anyone, especially young teenage girls , to read about pure love.

I read this book years ago as a high school student in the 1970’s. It touches my heart now as it did then. Thee timeless story of God’s love and grace presented so clearly. The God of second chances to those reborn and redeemed by Jesus.

Camila is the lovely girl in this story and although she feels she does not belong to Jeff Wainwright's rich world but through God's working they are eventually joined in a pure relationship and that is what the white orchids represent in this wonderful snd romantic story. I enjoyed the journey it took to get there.

Reading Grace Livingston Hill's books is such a joy. I always feel inspired & joyful when I read them. There are parts that feel like I'm spending a few moments in presence of God. The complete salvation message is shared & I always feel uplifted.

I love Grace Livingston Hill books! This was a great one. I am rereading her books because of the simple way she explains salvation to others. I am a Teen school teacher and this will help me a lot to witness to them. I wish I could be a writer like Grace. It's my dream.

Very good 👍. I like stories about basic wholesome families and their Christian faith. I did not like the books that has a not an shred of moral values.

Just a simple love story written very well so that it bxings back the peace of other years. Grace Livingston Hill has a way of taking her people through the trials in life and showing that if you just trust the Lord things kome right in the end.
