I don’t think you could put heavy furniture on it without breaking the plastic bottom that connects the pieces, but I have it in my laundry room and it looks nice.

What about water dripping on/through when used for an indoor bathroom?

We set it inside the shower space so water slips through down the drain perfectly well. If there is no drain on your floor then I guess water will slip through and sit there.
