Lowepro Nova 200 AW II Messenger Case, Black

I needed a bag to hold a bit more kit for wandering (but didn't want a backpack as I already have one). I was looking at the Nova 180 AW II which wasn't looking much bigger than my venerable Nova 2 based on the rubbish product photos in the listing). I digress, I came across the Nova 200 AW II and it looked better (based on the images available). Me being me, not fully appreciating dimensions, received a massive box and I began to wonder what exactly I had ordered. It is huge. It fits a Nikon Z6ii with 24-70 f4 S fitted (with space either side of the padding), FTZ adapter, 3 other lenses (including a daft, but fun 500mm Tamron mirror lens) and my Mamiya C33 Pro TLR and a couple of lenses for that (not in the image). And that is the main compartment only. With large front and a couple of end pockets, plus pockets in the lid, there's room for chargers, filters, films, batteries and a whole load of other sundries. In fact, I can get so much stuff in there it is actually too heavy to carry for any period of time and a backpack would be better. Yes, I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but, this bag is great even so. Realistically I would have the mirrorless + 2 lenses (most likely just the one) the C33 TLR & a 2nd lens, some filters and that's about it. The C33 TLR is literally the size of a brick and weights in at nearly 2 kg (if you have never encountered one before). WIth the more basic load, and the strap over the neck / shoulder, it is easy access and has the benefit of the water proof cover (a godsend on other bags I have owned by Lowepro and are properly waterproof). The padding and layout options are good, with velcro strips on the dividers to allow you to rearrange as you need to. Well made and fairly robust material (I'll see how it lasts the test of time of course). If you wanted a bag for a day out doing camera things and wanted to take your packed lunch too, this is the bag. But it is easy to overfill and gets very heavy so watch out for that. I am more than pleased with it, if I'd got the Nova 180 AW II that I had seen initially, I'd probably have been disappointed as looks as if it would have only held the Nikon and a couple of lenses and not the C33 TLR too (the reason for seeking a larger bag).

I've dipped in and out of photography a few times over the years. I decided to invest in a mirrorless DSLR and a few lenses. As usual this bag is typical of the good quality found with Lowpro badges. Plenty of storage for filters, SD cards, battery charger and lens cleaning cloths.

I have had Lowepro bags before and the quality is excellent and they are designed by photographers for photographers with lots of useful storage and touches. Pull out rain cover is a great idea to protect your expensive gear from the rain. Got it on Black Friday sale so great value for money. Easily accommodates my Pro DSLR with battery grip, 4 lenses, flashgun, lens hoods and lots of bits and bobs. Highly recommended.

Good quality, plenty of dividers, reasonable price. As expected.

I am very pleased with the quality of this bag also bigger than I anticipated but much more storage space for all my equipment.

This a genuinely large shoulder camera bag. Plenty of room for my Nikon dslr (d500) with battery grip,70-300mm lens fitted.spare camera body plus 2-3 lenses and extra batteries,memory cards etc. strap is well padded and comfortable,good length too. Good number of internal dividers and zippered internal pockets. External compartments are also very good and easily accessible. The raincover is quick to access and covers the entire bag. This is the second bag I have bought of this product,the was about 10years ago and is still useable!. Very strongly recommended.

Non mi piace scrivere recensioni dei prodotti che acquisto perchè potrebbe portare sfortuna, ma fino ad ora non si è rotto niente, quindi tanto vale recensirla per chi ci mette gli occhi sopra. Allora io non la utilizzo per dotazioni fotografiche e obiettivi ma come porta oggetti, e caspita la qualità è da urlo ha delle rifiniture ben fatte e se non erro è anche antipioggia, il colore grigio chiaro al suo interno consente di distinguere gli oggetti in caso di bassa luminosità di notte, i pannelli separatori sono solidi e il velcro adesivo una volta che è applicato per separarlo ci vogliono le pinze idrauliche dei pompieri FENOMENALE. È abbastanza grande ma non ingombrande la chiusura a clip permette un'apertura rapida apri, afferra e richiudi. Ha una portata di 1,2 KG ma io ho superato quella soglia avrò raggiunto tipo un 1,3 KG, la tracolla è munita di un tampone da spalla morbidissimo che non provica dolori che altro posso dire? IL TOP

Larger than I thought, but surprisingly sturdy and lightweight. The rain-proof pouch is attached and tucked away in a zipper pocket accessed from the bottom of the bag, so there is no worry about losing it. Plenty of space to easily fit my DSLR, six lenses, tablet, flash, and an array of smaller accessories. The metal fastenings for the strap are a nice touch. Exactly what I needed for shooting trips with unknown conditions, and why I keep returning to Lowepro for camera bags.

I've got a bit of a bag collection its fair to say. I've been buying camera bags for 20 years, as I love a new bag and I'm always searching for the 'perfect solution' for my set up. I've been filming weddings for 20 years and one of the first bags I got was this one, no matter what other bags I buy and try, I always come back to this one for the perfect size and quality. - I just bought a replacement of this bag as my old one is looking a bit worse for wear after 1700 weddings. - but it was still usable. I just wanted a fresh new version. Anyway this bag is pretty much perfect in my opinion.
