This camera works and was recognized by Microsoft Windows 10 instantly. Easy to plug and play. The camera does feel slightly fragile. I haven't tested but it does not feel suitable for travel or robust handling. However, if you're going to set it on a monitor and forget it then it should hold up just fine. Below is my review. My standard use case if for video conferencing.What I like:- It was plug and play. Works for Zoom.- It's small. About the width of my phone and three fingers tall. The mount seems sturdy enough to support the weight and can adjust the positioning on my monitor or desk for proper angle.- Manual focus. One of things I was worried about with these lesser known branded cameras is that the auto-focus feature can be poorly implemented and disruptive. The ring on the front of the camera is the focus and allow you to dial it in and forget about it. If you're stationary for most of your use then it works just fine and allows me to avoid dealing with auto-focus issues.- The USB cable was long enough to reach from the top of my monitor down to the floor.- The image quality is better than 720p. It's HD quality video. I wouldn't be surprised if it is true or close to 1080p. I also have less noise in my video than using my laptop integrated 720p camera. So, it's a step up from that but it's not going to rival more expensive cameras with better optics and processing sensors.Some areas to be aware of- Field of view is a bit wide. Sitting 3 feet from the camera I can stretch my arms out to the side or above my head and my hands are still in the frame. So, prepare to share your space with your video consumers as the camera will pick up more background that just your face and shoulders. Again, because there is no software, you can't zoom or adjust the image.- Color and brightness. The camera seems to have the brightness dialed up a bit and again their is no software to help with processing. So, colors are a bit washed out or faded looking. Reds are pinkish, golds are yellowish, etc... I haven't tried low-light performance yet but this may assist with low lighting conditions I suspect. Depends on how much this matters to you. This doesn't mean your face will be blue on video but the brightness setting seems to be raised a couple points too high and you won't have true to life color representation.- Integrated microphone - Don't plan on using it. I have three microphone option available to me. I have a Realtek integrated mic on my laptop, an integrated mic on a soundbar, and the integrated mic on this camera (all through the same computer). This camera's microphone is by far the worst of the three. You will sound like you are sitting far away from the mic and it will be muffled. It seems like an attractive feature but unless you are on a strict budget or just need it for an occasional purpose, this microphone is useless. As a result, I haven't tested the echo cancelling ability because it's not worth using on a call.Thinking about picking it up because of the price and availability? I can confirm that it works with Windows 10, you will get good quality video, the stand will keep it on your monitor, it works with Zoom and MS Teams, and it arrived on-time. Just think about your space and the field of view, no auto-focus, unusable microphone, and durability. For the average tele-conference attendee it would probably be an upgrade over most integrated laptop cams.
