Okay, now this book is really in depth on almost everything and even scorns the buying of painted shells! But, I noticed it does lack on two things. Meaning they mentioned it, but didn't explain to well.Proper Substrate level, which needs to be a minimum of 6 inches and tank humidity which needs to be 80%.These books always make me happy because they even have sections for people to teach kids what to do and what not to do. I'd like to eventually own all that apply to my house hold!

I GUESS THIS WOULD BE OK FOR THOSE WHO KNOW VERY VERY LITTLE, BUT I WOULD HAVE LIKED MORE INFORMATION.

This item was a gift for my mother's birthday and when I received it I was shocked. The front cover was crinkled and torn, the pages were ripped and looked like they had been colored on by a child. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
