Pet Mice - Your Pet Mouse Happy Care Guide

Bought this book for my son who is enjoy the hobby of Mice

I purchased this mouse guide because we are trying to figure out the best small pet for my household. It was hard trying to find a comprehensive online resource so I looked for a written guide. I have not the first clue about mice, so this book was very informative to me.It is well organized and easy to follow. Not only did it detail how to care for a mouse, but it also included how to select one as well. I was not aware of all the different types of mice including fancy mice and this book detailed that nicely to help us with selecting one. The list of breeders is handy because I just don't trust the health of pets from a pet store from past experience.I really liked that it included a pros and cons list to consider prior to getting a pet mouse because I forgot about some of those behaviors. It was also helpful that it laid out the potential initial costs to set up a furry friend and the cost of ongoing care to help us plan for that expense.I am glad I purchased this book because it has helped us make a decision as to whether or not to become mouse parents.

A helpful, well written introduction to the world of mice, and mouse keeping. Thourough, but still a pretty quick read. Very useful for those just considering a mouse as a pet, and those who are starting on the journey. This also seems to be the only Kindle book available on this subject not geared specifically towards children - a big plus

This is a good book about pet mice, the only real issue with it is it needs updating. Believe it or not the standards have changed since we were kids.

This book is straight forward and a good read for anyone who has never had a pet mouse before. The book covers basic care, health problems, caging, and the different types of mice that are available on the market. This book is excellent for the novice.

I just finished reading this book. It was an easy read and very informative, including all information necessary when getting ready and/or deciding to purchase a pet mouse. It is a good read for parents/adults and an easy enough read children can read in preparation for getting a pet.It includes information about picking the right pet mouse, setting up the habitat, and feeding tips.A must read for anyone thinking about getting a mouse!

This is a very informative book. I would have loved more pictures, and more info on their habitat in the wild.

My daughter is going to look after a chinchilla and my son is going to look after some mice! Both books read well and contained lots of useful information. There aren't that many good books on looking after mice but this is easy to read and follow and I felt gave you everything you needed to know. If you're getting mice I would easily recommend this book to you.

Disappointed with the print version, the photographs are all in black and white, making it impossible to see the coat colours. I did not realise this until the book arrived. I had looked inside the book on the kindle view which shows lovely colour pictures.

Great and useful book. Although it doesn't say how much the mice wee and poo and everywhere! In the book they say they do it in one place. Keep in mind it gets extremely smelly and also sl,e mice will spend all night on their wheel pooing and stepping in it!

I got this for my daughter to go with her pet mice hope she enjoys reading it
