These speakers are bad ass! They are super loud with crisp, clear sound! I could hear them on a pretty windy day (25 mph winds) doing 80 with a full face helmet on! The USB and volume control are both very heavy duty metal frames. Although I didn't install the volume control initially, I will have to add it back on to make adjusting the sound easier because going from 80 to hitting city streets this thing is just WAY too loud! LOL The speakers themselves are all metal and sturdy themselves, but the design is lame...they look like shower heads. Instructions are lacking. Not very clear. It says it is plug and play, but on my 2006 HD Deluxe the connection at the end that was supposed to plug into my bike was almost the same connection that was on my bike, both were female ends. I cut off both connections and spliced them together and also added my usb to this splice. I put my amp and extra wiring in my windshield pouch, but noticed today that the amp was super hot, so I will have to find out if that is normal. Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase. I would recommend anyone looking at Cycle Sounds or Boom Audio to check these out first. $300 cheaper and you get 4 speakers that are all metal and not plastic. Cons: Amp gets really hot volume control switch really sucks, installed it and the removed it. Speaker faces look like shower heads No plug n play Pros: really loud 4 speakers vs 2 for other brands of same price most wiring is really long metal speakers i stead of plastic still sounds good in the rain

The PLMCA90 1200 Watts Amp and 4 Speaker system is my third Pyle motocycle stereo purchase. For the price you can't beat this excellent 4 speaker system. I Have all 4 speakers mounted to the handelbars and at 65 mph (I Have a Windshield) the sound is crisp and clear. The USB charger is a plus and charges my Ipod Nano with no problems. Installation is streight forward taking about 2 to 3 hours. Everything you need is included. I do recommend using in-line fuses and heat shrink wrapping your connections especially the Male/Female connection between the amp and speakers for extra protection against the elements. I've installed an older Pyle 2 speaker system on my friends bike 2 years ago. After seeing and hearing my new system it looks like I'll be installing another Pyle PLMCA90 4 Speaker system on his bike too. Keep up the good work making Affordable/Quality products.

This is a cheap stereo. The mounting hardware is cheap and does not fit correctly to mount the speakers. The plug in cord that claims to fit most Harleys' doesn't fit in my 2010 Road King. The connector for the power and speaker wires is undependable. The directions are not present. [not even a fuse size]. After fighting the mounting hardware I gave up and bought decent P clamps. The wiring connectors wouldn't make a 5 mile ride without coming loose and make the speakers cut in and out so I had to remove it and solder and sleeve all the wires. The sound is barley adjustable from the volume knob. When you turn the volume knob [very hard to move with a finger] the music cuts in and out and makes it difficult to adjust. The speakers start to break up at 3/4 output. The 1200 watt isn't super loud either. I have invested enough work into the installation that I will keep it until it dies and then buy a good music system.

Good product

Buy it. I have 2004 FLSTF with loud pipes with no windshield. Highway speeds the sound fades but if you keep it under 70 mph you will hear it just fine. If I had a windshield and quieter pipes I know it would be clear. But not giving up the cool points for the tunes. Rudy

Installation was pretty straight forward which is a good thing considering they don't give you much in the way of instructions. System comes without an inline fuse for the amplifier nor is there any way to switch off the amplifier once you wire it direct. I wired in a toggle swithch and an inline fuse. At high volumes the speakers had a lot of distortion, once I ran a ground to the chassis some of that went away. One of the 4 speakers is broken and will need replacing and also the USB does not work and will need replacing. Other than all this the system actually has pretty good sound. Oh yeah, the volume control is not good...way too sensitive, vibration alone will change the volume.

Ottime per chi vuole ascoltare la musica, prima di questo kit avevo acquistato il plmca30 ottime casse si riuscivano ad ascoltare fino gli 80kmh invece con questaltro kit fino i 100 km/h poi dipende dal vento , casse molto rigide. Ho trovato 2 Problemi uno sta nel regolatore del volume che nei 2 kit mi è uscito difettoso( come giro un po' la manovella subito alza) però è solo a farci l'abitudine poi si riesce a regolare tranquillamente e l'altro sta che a motore acceso si sente il rumore nelle casse, quindi bisogna acquistare anche un dissipatore di massa. Comunque consiglio a chi vuole ascoltare la musica questo kit

has enough volume to hear while riding. gets a little distorted when bass is too high. amp gets a little warm but that might be normal so i have it in a spot with airflow. not the best system in the world but it works. not sure about durability yet so we'll see
