Go for it!
This is the Sixth Edition but unlike the real international edition this is not coloured version, it's black and white . The coloured version really have a captivating effect while dealing with so many complicated circuits. So if you can get hand on that it would be better. Pages quality is also not upto the mark, however the content is same.As for content this book is a finesse in the field of Electrical Circuits. Simplified theory, fewer but enough examples along with a lot of practice questions is a must have for all Engineering students, GATE amd ESE aspirants.The only thing that felt odd is that inspite of the even questions being a little bit tricky they have given answers for odd questions only which sometimes left someone like me in dilemma whether my answer is correct or not.

A fantastic book
Much better step by step explanations than those found in the books by Indian authors on similiar subjects, like Circuit Theory by Abhijit Chakraborty.I love this book, it rekindled my interest in circuit theory, and it has allowed me to go far in that field

Using this for self study. Excellent book with many worked examples and practice problems. Explanations are generally very clear and detailed. About a third of the way through it in 3 weeks time.
