These are similar to the old Nelson brand quick release garden hose connectors: reliable connection free of leaks and quick connect/disconnect, in my experience.Only recommendation: change out the internal washers each spring to maintain reliability.

You have to unscrew one end if it’s too tight as it won’t go on the other end.Other than that and no instructions it’s very handy.

They are so helpful if you have multiple things to connect to your hose. It's quick, easy and very convenient. I am very happy.

These are made of light duty aluminum, not brass. Also, the black plastic collars are thick and would not work for my use. The coupling mechanisms worked well.
