CAIG DeoxIT GOLD G100P Pen Applicator 6 ml

I have been using this product for 20 years at least. It used to be called ProGold Connector Enhancer. I use it on any form of electrical contacts or connectors, such as inside of flashlights, computer add-in card edge connectors, etc. it greatly improves the reliability of the connections. One way to see clearly how much this will improve connections is to use it on batteries, especially if you notice they are getting weak. Remove the batteries from a flashlight and rub a tiny amount on the contact surfaces of the batteries and when you put it back together you will notice a considerably brighter light, every time.My son has come to realize that whenever he is having trouble with an electronic device the first thing to do is rub a little of this on the contacts and nearly always it clears up the trouble.I am not exaggerating and I do not work for this company (CAIG). This is just a great product.

Works fine for making electrical contacts work better. It’s a very fine penpoint so it’s not good for larger contacts. Are used it to improve the reliability of my wireless headphone charger. It uses spring loaded pins that press onto the headphone terminals.

I gig in Florida, near the ocean, and outdoors. There is even corrosive salt in the air.This keeps all my connections working well, guitar cables, mic cables, MIDI cables or whatever. A little coating resists corrosion and enhances the connection.

I wish I had known this existed years ago. It was recommended to me by Serato via Twitter as a great way to keep the connections clean on my turntable cartridges. Since it arrived i've been using it all over the house on pretty much anything that has a gold plated connection, which is most of anything I own that's rechargeable. Cleaned a ton of gunk off of my Logitech Harmony remote, used it on my girlfriend's Roomba, could go on and on.I took off one star because it was especially hard to get the pen to start working. Not sure if it was my specific pen or they all take a bit to get up and running, but I was convinced at first it was defective. Works totally fine now.Also, this thing is kinda pricey, but worth it.

Removed from the packaging, shook the pen and uncapped it. Gave the tip a couple of presses to pump / prime, and it didn't seem to apply to the USB dongle I was working on.I gave it a few more shakes, and went to depress the tip again... and there was cotton/felt tip to the dispenser pen anymore.The tip just flew out of the pen when I shook it.It's okay, though, because upon further inspection I think the tube was dried out/empty, too. I guess I'll find out if I ever find the tip.

I would not buy from this supplier again: the DeOxit pen I received looks great, but is completely dried out. Probably been sitting on a shelf for a long time. Old stock, or stored in a hot area for months. Buy the liquid instead.

Very good product, provides ease of connectivity and easy to use.

Doesn't work as well as I was told. Still new with how it works.
