How do I know it's authentic?

This is the weak stuff. I got this months ago and hated it because I had the original previously and the difference was clear. This one just lasts a few seconds and it’s gone. The original stays on u forever. How do I know? When I had the original I received compliments from women all the time and when I got this one off amazon, nothing. All the compliments gone! I also got the original yesterday at Nordstrom for $120 and it’s $60 here so clearly something has to give!

I like this cologne very much but am I the only one or does anyone else found the sweetness pretty annoying?

I somewhat disagree with go with what you like. More people smell a fragrance on me than myself. I may like it, but if it annoys others, why keep wearing it? I'd prefer to receive compliments from others and not really like it than to love it and receive no compliment. A fragrance should be worn not primarily for self is how I see it.

Is there any serial numbers on the package to verify it is authentic?

I'm not sure if there are or not but if someone is able to fake a box and bottle then they would be able to fake a number. Just order from a reputable seller and you'll be fine. FragranceNet has always sent me legit stuff
